Begin Again

Chapter 1

      Sveinn Wang, age 19, sat up and looked out of his window. His twin brother, Matt, was still asleep next to him as he softly stroked his hair. They both just recently moved into New Brewster in hopes of starting a new life and forgetting the past back in Stetson City. He sighed a bit before getting up and going outside to think.
      As Sveinn walked around the area, he looked around to see not many people around. Probably best right now. As he was stuck in his thoughts, he didn't notice anyone in front of him until he accidentally bumped into the person.
     "I'm sorry.." He apologized softly and heard a soft chuckle.
     "It's alright. I wasn't paying attention either." He looked up to see a man, probably in his 20's, with almost brown hair and green eyes. "You're new here, right?"
     "Y-yes.."
     "What's your name?" He asked softly and Sveinn crossed his arms.
     "You tell me yours first. You bumped into me." The man chuckled lightly and smiled.
     "Fair enough. Ace. Ace Dires. I'm a doctor here at the New Brewster Hospital."
     "Sveinn Wang." He simply said as he nodded.
     "Nice to meet you Sveinn. You know.. You should come to the festival that's being held in a couple of days. It's at the center. Some of my friends and my family will be there. I'm sure you'll like it."
     "I'll think about it. Thanks anyway."
     "Alright. I'll see you around." Ace smiled before leaving. Sveinn nodded and watched. Were people actually this friendly here than back in his home? He would have to find out soon.
