Remus POV
Sirius and I walked hand in hand to the three broomsticks.
"You go find us a seat, I'll get us the butter beers." Sirius said, passing me the bags of things we'd bought. I found a little booth in the far corner and set out some of the food we'd bought from Honeydukes. Sirius had a wide variety whilst I had only piles and piles of chocolate. "Here we are love." Sirius said as he returned with the butter beers and set them down on the table. I took one sip and immediately had a froth tache. When I looked up from my tankard Sirius was laughing his adorable laugh.

"Remus! REMUS!" Lily's shouting awoke me from my daydreaming. "Your break ended 10 minutes ago Remus, you can't keep doing this!" Lily practically screamed at me "You were in that little universe of yours, weren't you! The one in your head! What's that place you made up again? Pigspots?"
"Hogwarts. And who's to say it's not real? For all you know, I'm having visions of a past life!" I smiled to her,
"Oh, don't be silly Remus! You don't even know a James, or a Peter, and certainly not a Sirius! Now get back out there before you don't have a job either!" Lily scowled back at me. I smirked and walked back out into the small coffee shop I worked in.

2 hours later I was sat in English class tapping my pen against the desk while waiting for my teacher to show up. There were rumours going around about a supposed new student, I usually didn't pay attention to rumours but for some reason something about it sparked my interest. 10 minutes into class I finally heard the door creak open. Our teacher walked in with a familiar set of grey eyes. It took me a while but it finally clicked when she introduced him as Sirius Black. He smirked and looked over the sea of students until his eyes rested on me, his smile disappeared and was replaced by a look of shock and recognition. We were gazing into each other's eyes for what seemed like hours before the teacher began speaking and I realised the only seat left was next to me, it would seem Sirius also noticed.
"Mr. Black, please go and sit down in that far corner next to-"
"Remus."
