My name is Emily. It has no origin or story behind it, my parents just thought it was cute. I was born on November 5, 2002 and am 14 as of now. I am a freshman in high school in a town in Indiana. I can't stand it. High school is sucking the life out of me every Monday through Friday. The only place that I find meaning is at my church. Some of you may find that stupid, ridiculous, or a waste of time. That's okay. I'm not here to preach to you, I'm here to write, and I'll respect what you believe as long as you do the same for me.
Anyway, my church is where I feel truly at home. All of my friends that I have there are my family. They continuously make me better and I love them.
I joined Wattpad in 2014 because my friend Madison had told me about it. She was the one that got me into writing. I was really into uploading here at first, but that slowly faded out. I was still writing, just in notebooks and for assignments in my middle school creative writing classes that were taught by my favorite teacher I've ever had. Her name was Mrs. Fear and I wish I could go back to her class every day. My high school doesn't have a creative writing class, so I've had no motivation nor place to put my work. So now I'm back here. I don't know what I'll write. Maybe stories, maybe poetry, maybe random untitled prose. But whatever I write here, please be kind to it. Please let this be a safe place for me.
