Kacine's pov

"Kacine!" I heard my dad call from downstairs.

I groaned into my pillow. "Ugh, what?!" I yelled.

"Samantha's here to see you!" He informed.

All of a sudden I heard someone burst into my room. I jumped up scared as I heard my door hit the back of my wall, with a bang. I saw Samantha standing at my door way. "Ahhh! What are doing?!" Samantha yelled, shocked.

I looked at her in confusion and at the same time, anger. "What are you talking about? What are you doing? It's a Saturday and you're never up at-" I turned to look at the time on my clock. "12:30 in the afternoon." I stated.

Samantha slapped her palm into her forehead. She sighed. "Repeat what you just said." She told me.

"I said it's Saturday and you're never up at-" I paused. I looked at the clock again in panic. "12:30 in the afternoon!" I yelled. I instantly got up out of bed and rushed into the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"You idiot!" Samantha said in a duh tone of voice. I totally forgot that Taylor was taking me out on a date today. And she's picking me up at one! Know wonder why Samantha's up this early. "I called you five times and you sent me to voice mail. I wanted to know if you were ready for your date. But I guess not." She stated.

I turned on the water in the shower. I came out of my bathroom and went straight to my closet. I remember Taylor telling me yesterday after school to where something casual and comfortable. So, I decided to where my favorite blue polo shirt and white short shorts. I ran back into the shower, stripping on my way there. I heard Samantha snickering behind me. "Seriously, Kacine?" She laughed.

I took a quick shower and shortly I was out of the bathroom fully clothed. "Thanks, Samantha. Without you, I would've never woken up." I thanked her.

"Sure thing. And just out of curiosity. Why weren't you up? You naturally get up around nine something." She stated.

I grabbed a pair of socks and put them on my feet. I looked at the time, 12:47pm. I looked back at Samantha. "I was doing homework. You know, so I didn't have to do it over the weekend." Stupid teachers. Who gives their kids homework on weekends? When I was in elementary school, there was no such thing as homework on the weekends.

"That's true." She said. Samantha and I heard a bell ring downstairs. We looked at each other. We both knew exactly who was here. "I'll go downstairs to stall Taylor, while you finish getting ready." I nodded to her in agreement. With that said, Samantha bolted downstairs.

I got up and put on my navy blue low top converse. I then went into my bathroom and dried off my hair a little more. I could still tell it was a little damp from me taking a shower. I then plugged in my flat ironer and flat ironed my hair straight. When I was done I brushed through it. I put on some lip gloss and headed out of my bathroom. I suddenly stopped at my door. I realized I needed two things. One, a belt. Two, my phone. I went into my closet and took out a black skinny belt and put it on. I ran over to my bed side and grabbed my phone and went downstairs.

When I came downstairs, Samantha was talking up a storm. And trust me, Taylor indeed looked like she wanted to kill her. Wow, Samantha's no joke when it comes down to stalling people, I thought. I snickered. Taylor then caught my eye. She smiled at me. She got up off the couch and walked towards me, where I was standing on the bottom of the steps. "Hey, where are going? I'm not done ta-" Samantha stopped what she was going to say.

"You ready?" Taylor asked, with a smile.

"Indeed I am." I replied, also with a smile.

Taylor took my hand in hers. I looked at Samantha and mouth the words 'thank you'. She gave me a wink and followed behind us out the door. Samantha went to her car and drove off. Taylor took me to the passenger side of her car and opened the door. "Here you go." She said grinning. I smiled at her and got into the car. She closed the door behind me and went to the other side to get into the driver's seat. Wow, she was so sweet.

Taylor put her keys into the ignition and started to drive off my parents driveway. "So, where are we going?" I asked, curiously.

I looked at Taylor and she had an evil grin on her face. "You'll see." She told me. Ugh, I hate when people do that to me. I rolled my eyes and stared out the window as we drove off into the open road.

Samantha's pov

I pulled into a parking space at the mall. Sense Kacine was on her date with Taylor, I thought I could go to the mall and treat myself with a couple of new things. Plus it's a great way to kill time, as I wait for Kacine to come back from her date. The first store I walked into was my favorite store. Guess. I just love their outfits. Half of the clothes I own are from here.

I looked around the store. I gasped. I just spotted the most beautiful shirt. I jogged my way towards the shirt. It was a solid black crop top shirt that had the word 'Guess' in brown and silver glitter. It also had cheetah print on the sleeves. I looked at the size on the shirt. "Perfect. Just my size." I smiled. I took it off the rack. I looked up from where I was standing and saw beautiful ripped booty shorts. I walked over there and searched for my size. Once I had gotten my size, I walked over to the dressing room. I put my stuff on the hook and started stripping. I put on the shirt first and then the jeans. I looked into the mirror and spinned around slowly, doing the whole 360 in the mirror. I stopped and posed with one hand on my hip. "Don't you look sexy." I said to myself. I took off the clothes and put on my original clothing.

I walked out of the dressing room and went straight to the cashier. "Hello, ma'am. Did you find everything okay?" She asked me.

I smiled at her and nodded. "Yes, ma'am." I said, taking out my wallet.

"Okay, that'll be 39.95." She said, while putting my stuff into a bag. I handed her a $50 bill. "Okay, here you go ma'am. Enjoy the rest of your day." She told me, while giving me my change and my clothes.

I smiled at her and walked out of Guess. I heard a loud growl from my stomach. I then realized I haven't really ate anything all day. So, I decided to head to the food court. For some strange reason, I was in the mood for Chinese. I walked over to Panda Express and waited in line. As I waited, I scanned the whole food court. I then spotted Eddy sitting by himself at one of the tables. "Huh, what he is doing here?" I asked myself. I turned back around. It was now my turn to order.

When I was done ordering my food, I walked over to where Eddy was sitting. "Hey, Ed." I greeted.

He looked up at me and smiled. "Hey, Sammmy." He replied.

"What are you doing here by yourself? Men don't shop." I stated playfully, while opening my box to eat.

He chuckled. "Oh, I'm here with my boyfriend." He said, simply.

Whoa, hold on. Eddy has a boyfriend? "You have a boyfriend? And exactly when was I informed about this?" I asked him playfully.

He chuckled again. "Yeah, sorry. I was just so caught up with him, that I had forgot to tell you." He said, shyly.

I laughed. "It's okay. So, who's the lucky guy?" I asked taking a spoon full of Chinese rise and orange chicken.

Before Eddy could respond, a guy appeared with Subway bags. As I gotten a better look at him, I realized who he was. "Hey, babe. They ran out of American cheese, so I just got you swiss. Is that okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, that's fine." Eddy said taking one of the bags from him.

As soon as the guy sat down, he noticed me sitting here. His eyes widen. I smiled and looked at Eddy. "So, Caleb Winston's your boyfriend?" I asked with a smirk.

Eddy also smirked. He looked at Caleb. "Don't worry babe. She's cool." He informed him.

"H-h-hi, S-Samantha." He stuttered.

I raised an eyebrow and grinned in amusement. This will be interesting. "So, how'd you guys get started?" I asked taking another spoon full.
