Blue-eyes POV

I was walking to the park to meet up with some friends when I accidentally bump into someone. I look down to see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, aka my crush since sixth grade.

"Sorry." She says as she quickly glances up at me.

"It's fine." I reply as I look down and start walking down the sidewalk so I don't humiliate myself in front of her.

I don't know why I like her so much. I know that she would never talk to me even if I was the last man on earth.

I arrive at the park and see my group of friends smirking at me.

"Who's that?" One of my friends asks me.

"That's Ayriona Hanks...why do you ask?" I respond hesitantly.

"Well you should talk to her." Another one of my friends shouts from the top of the jungle gym.

"How? I can hardly say three words to her." I state.

"Dude, I have her number. Text her!" He exclaims excitedly as he grabs my phone from my hand to put her number in.

I get my phone back then decide to text her.

Hey

Ayriona's POV

Hey

-Hi? Who is this?

You bumped into me earlier today

-Oh! Sorry about that...

It's fine

-So what's your name if I may ask

That's for me to know and you to find out😜

I roll my eyes and set my phone down.

"Who was that?" Courtney asks.

"A guy i bumped into on my way here. He won't tell me his name though!" I exclaim, exasperatedly.

"Ooh! A mystery man! We HAVE to find out who he is!" She exclaims excitedly.

I groan before I pop my head up off  the pillows to look at Courtney, "Let's go on an adventure! I'm so bored." I say

"I'm game. What were you thinking?" She asks as she casually scrolls through her phone.

I sit there and ponder a few ideas. "We can run around Walmart because there's nothing else to do in this God-forsaken town." I suggest.

She sits there and ponders it for a second before jumping up from the bed and grabbing her shoes. She then runs out the door and upstairs to grab her car keys. I laugh and follow her upstairs and outside.

"I call dibs on the AUX!!" I shout at her through the open window.

"Nope. House rules Satan. Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts her cake hole." she says back before I whip the passenger door open and climb in. I instantly open her glove box and grab some oatmeal cream pies.

"Hey! Those are mine!" Courtney exclaims.

"I always eat them and you never say anything!" I simply state as I open one and start eating it.

"Well at least give me one." She replies as she rolls her eyes.

We finally pull into the Walmart parking lot and find a spot to park.

"Hey, I think my mom works today!" I shout excitedly.

"I think you're right." Courtney says as she searches for her wallet in the back seat. I climb out of the car and lay on the hood.

"Finally!" I exclaim as Courtney walks around the front of her car and starts walking inside.

"Hey! You're not much better in the morning!" She shoots back before she starts laughing. I push myself off the car and follow my sanity inside. Once we get inside, we start checking the checkout isles for my mom.

"Mom!!" I shout when I find her.

"Hey daughter." My friend Ashley (a.k.a mom) says once she sees me. "What are you guys doing?" She asks.

"Satan and I got bored at my house, so we decided to come to Walmart." Courtney replies.

"Ahh, I see. Well have fun and please don't get kicked out!"

"We won't promise anything!" Courtney and I say at the exact same time before running off towards the kids toys section.
