From the Past to the Future

The Beginning

"Good morning baby! Wake up!", my mom said

"I'm still sleepy, give me 5 more minutes mom", I replied

"It's your first day as a high school student, so wake up now and don't be late", my mom added

"Okay fine", I answered and get up.

Hello! I am Alexandra Sanchez but my family and friends preferred to call me Alex. I'm 12 years of age and now in my first day in high school at International School for Better Beginning. I'm just a typical jolly girl but behind this is a witty, talented, and adventurous girl. I was the class valedictorian upon graduating in elementary, a troupe leader in Girl Scout and  the chief majorette of the band way back in elementary days.

"Whoaaa... It's really a big school but all I can see are familiar faces who studied to the same elementary school I've been". I thought

"Hi Sarah! How are you? Long time to see", I said to my closest friend slash cousin

"I missed you too nothing's change", she replied

As the classes begin and got my section, I have new friends but mostly of my classmates are also my classmates whem I'm on elementary including Sarah.

I have joined performing arts since I know and love how to dance and act in a theater stage. I'm also the newly elected class president of our class.

While going around inside my school, i have noticed different people. One guy catches my attention for what reason. He already has a girlfriend as i saw them always together.

As time goes by, suitors approaches me and yes I do entertain them since I have a permission from my mother but not in terms of having a boyfriend just suitors.

"Hi Alex! You look so lovely almost everyday", said Anton with a wink as I passed by in the corridor. He is my classmate

"Are you free to night pretty girl?", texted by James who is a football varsity

"Can I drive you home Alex?", texted by Charles a senior high student

I sometimes give time to them but frequently not since my parents are strict enough that they want to focus me on my studies first.

"Hello Alex! I've been noticed you since your first day here in ISBB. Would you mind if I take you out on lunch?", said Andrew

OMG! It was Andrew who texted me out of the blue moon. He's an officer in our schiol's government and came from a well-known family in our place. Since then, I tried to hang out with him.

We went out, we did skatung and ate at a fine dining restaurant since it's my birthday. It's been 5 months since we started to date and he courted.

"Thank you Andrew! I enjoyed this day", I said

"No. Thank you because you forgave me to be with you on your special day", Andrew replied

"Hmmm... Alex It's been how many months since I courted you. Can you now be my girl.....friend?", he added while wearing a flash of smile

I was shocked knowing that I just turned 13 years old and my parents won't allow it but...

"Yeeees.. I'm your girlfriend now", I shyfully said

I just suddenly said that and follow my heart. He was my first boyfriend and I don't know what to feel about the decision I've made

So many happy memories we've shared together but there's also so much fight. I know thera's no perfect relationship and since I'm still young, I just decided to end up our one-year relationship.
