Quiet, calm, the environment around me had a somewhat relaxing atmosphere. It was Dark yet reassuring. Suddenly I hear a voice call out to me. Am I dreaming? What was real and what wasn't seemed to have been twisted together all so confusing. I tried to call back but I couldn't. The voice got louder and louder until it was clear. My vision slowly came back to me, and I saw him, holding me in the comfort of his arms, tears rolling down his face. My friend, that poor girl, sobbing silently on the other side of my limp body. After a few minutes of staying still I finally opened my mouth to say something until he pulled me into a tight embrace.

"Thank God you're ok"

My friend joined in the hug, shaking slightly. I held onto both of them tightly not wanting to let go, then at that moment I looked up and reality hit me as I stared horrifically at the sight of the city, my city, in shambles. As reality continued to fill my mind and when everything was clear, I tilted forward my head and cried. I've never cried so hard in my life, but at that point I did. All I could think of was how it all happened, in one day.
