I am riding in my car to go home from the last swim of the summer. My hair is drenched with chlorine and water. I am sitting on my damp towel and playing on my phone. We are driving home to get showered and to get ready to go school supply shopping. Tomorrow is the first day of school and I am ready but not, at the same time. I am ready to see my friends but not ready to do a large amounts of work. We are pulling into my driveway as I get a facetime call from one of my best friends, Rylie. I have to decline it because I have to shower and get ready to go supply shopping. I go upstairs grab an outfit, take a shower, and got ready. I decided since my siblings were being very slow, I was going to facetime Rylie. Rylie and I facetime ALL THE TIME. Even though she was in Georgia for more than half the summer we still facetimed, practically everyday. We then hung out pretty much everyday after she got back from Georgia. From church events, to surprise visits, to coffee dates, lunch dates and sleepovers. It was practically where we would see each other either everyday or every other day. It would be weird for us if we didn't hang out for a week. Our parents would think we weren't friends anymore just cause we haven't hung out in seven days (which is kinda funny). Anyways.... Back to the facetime call..... Rylie and I talk about how the first day of school is going to go and how we have to save each other seats and stuff like that. We also talked about how her church is starting to do skits and plays which she's kinda annoyed about because they have to practice alot. I have been to her church quite a few times and her church is pretty laid back, it's not a huge church so everyone knows everyone. I remember over this summer I had my birthday and Facebook normally sends out a reminder when it's someone's birthday. I got so many alerts from all the people from Rylie's church wishing me a happy birthday is was kinda funny, and cool that they all sent me a birthday wish. I love the people at her church.... There is some conflict sometimes between her church.. Oh wait I didn't tell you Rylie is a PK as known as a Pastor's Kid.. so everyone knows her throughout the church. I like how the youth is very small and only consist of two other girls besides Rylie and her older sister Haley, and two other guys.... A 12 year old and a 18 year old named Cole. Cole and Riley have known each other for about four years.... It seems like Cole likes Riley like A LOT... I see him looking up at her during church services. Rylie doesn't notice I guess.. And I don't think she has feelings for him like he has for her. But then again she talks about Cole ALL the time... they snapchat and face-time until four o'clock in the morning so I meannn does Cole like her a lot? And or does Rylie not see him as "her type"? Rylie and I always end up talking about the last time they hung out and just random best friend stuff like who we like and who we are interested in but she never really comes out and says she likes him back. And I never really say who I'm interested in either...
