Then you meet someone....
You catch them looking at you.
You look away , trying to ignore them.
They smile and you melt.
You stay strong, walk away , never to see them again... right ?
But they find your info , they're persistent .
One date and your hooked .
You never needed anyone
but all of a sudden life starts moving fast
you need that person.
Life is funny that way right ?
Months past quickly , then a year
you guys are in love now .
Past a year and youve given yourself to that person
in a way youve never done for anyone else.
You've always hated living with people.
Swore you would never live with anyone else.
But this person got you doing things
Things you never thought you would
Because you feel so full now
Mentally , physically , everything is so good
So you move in together
Then thats when it starts
Life is funny that way
Not right away of course
No it still takes a few months
so subtle at first
You stop going out ....
They find something that takes their attention
Now you have to beg for it ...
habits that they have annoys you
You try to work it out ...
They avoid it
You start trying harder and harder
they try less and less
The unhappiness start
Now the person who made you so happy
is the reason you are constantly sad
Life is funny that way
At this point the good still outweighs the bad
You are still hanging in there
There are good days
Then more months go by
Now you dont even remember what affection feels like
That person doesnt look at you the same
You realize you have nothing in common
Awkward silences
You cant even remember how it began
It seems so obvious that you both are so different
