As our youngest kids are off to eighth and tenth grade we wave away our little boy while he walks off to college. They don't start school for about another two weeks but Jaxon is off today and we all wanted to wish him well on his trip to the university his older siblings attended. They're all going to the same university, it's been pretty much predetermined by everyone. "You be good alright? Don't give them all a hard time?" She pleads. She got up three hours early this morning because she couldn't stomach the thought of letting him go, he's still a baby to her. "Chase you dreams baby," she mumbles hugging him again. "And once you achieve them you come home and tell us all about it." She smiles.

"We're already proud of you," I hug him as well, he's grown almost taller than me. We're about the same height but he'll still grow more, I won't. "Now go off and make the world proud of you." I hug him a little tighter before Reese kisses his cheek. His little siblings squeeze him. CJ's gonna follow in about another two three years. "We'll see you at Christmas." They all came home for Christmas bringing stories and stories and for hours her and I would sit listening to them, they also came telling us how hard it was. She obviously wasn't happy that they were struggling with anything in school and spent some time with them in BC helping them with math and things they didn't understand.

"Bye," he waves again walking off. I look at the nine kids waiting next to us. CJ stands only a little taller than Reese watching Jaxon down the airport knowing that will be him soon. He's the next one to leave. We walk back to the car sitting them all down in it and driving home. We're always all separated throughout the house but Kat and I are always in the living room or the kitchen. If they need us they can come and get us. They always know where we'll be.

"Can I go out with my friends?" Aoife questions innocently. She's the baby and she's my baby girl and I pretty much let her do anything she wants. She got a phone before the others she gets everything and there are some days that I have to say no but she's my last baby in a huge family and I gotta baby one of them. Kat is the same way with Davi. She does tons for the others too but Davi is her baby boy and he's still tiny and he still loves being carried around. He's not very tall at all and he goes to a special school because she worries he'd get trampled if he went to school with his siblings.

"Who's the friend?" Kat questions before I can grant her permission. She doesn't like it but when it comes to the girls she sometimes has to step up and be the stricter parent. I do it with all of them depending on the situation so I could be the more strict one but she is always asking the girls questions and I never do. I never even think anything of it I just let them do what they want.

"Jason," she mumbles quickly making me raise an eyebrow. "There's gonna be a whole group of people." She nods at me hoping I didn't hear the part about the boy.

"Who's Jason?" My jaw clenched almost. Since Charlie any time they wanted to go out with friends the whole group has to come to our house first and I must see everyone in the group so I know that there's no boys.

"He's just a friend daddy, I promise." She nods but her brothers roll their eyes. My eyes go wide and I grip tighter on the wheel. Lays soft hand grabs at my own trying to calm me down.

"Is he just a friend?" I raise an eyebrow pulling into the driveway. I keep the car doors locked and the car running.

"Yes Daddy I promise," she nods. It worries me having her around boys. "Please can I go?" She pleads batting her eyelashes.

"Who's taking you?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Candy's Mom is gonna drive us to the mall and then she's gonna bring me home too." I nod slowly looking at Kat who shrugs at me and back at my baby girls pleading eyes.

"If you're not back before nine you're in a lot of trouble young lady." I point and she nods throwing her arms around me.

"Thank you Daddy," she squeals a little throwing her arms around my neck.

"Mhm," I nod slowly. "Now get ready before I change my mind."

I sit on the opposite side watching her read her book. I know she's watching me more than she's reading and I know what I have to do to get her over here. She likes this place because it's quiet and we could do anything we want in here and not be interrupted because no one knows about this place. "Is she back yet?" I raise an eyebrow checking the time.

"She'll be home," she reassures setting her book back on the shelf. It's our nightly routine to just enter and read for a while. Sometimes during the day I can catch her on the swing we have hung from the roof, reading just trying to escape stress or anything else. "You have her until nine, she won't be back until nine." She come laying on top of me. Her head against my chest but only momentarily, her lips press against mine her arms around my chest her legs pressing against either side of my stomach. The long hair she's grown falls over her right shoulder her hands tangled in the back of my hair taking my mind off of Aoife for a minute.

"No one ever comes in here," she mumbles leading someone through the doors. "It's kinda like dead space." She shrugs Reese falls against my shoulder and looks at our daughter as do I, a boy following her closely. "Jason," she chuckles pulling him towards her.

"Forward are we?" He chuckles leaning down and pressing his lips onto hers. She doesn't tell him off, nothing, I give her so much freedom and this is what I get in return. "Want it off?" He smiles while she pulls at his shirt.

"No she does not," I growl sitting letting my own girl fall to the ground so I can protect my baby.

"Daddy," she gasps a little making the boy smile softly. "What are you doing in here? You should be asleep." She bites her lip a little staring up at me. "Jason you should go," She points at the door. He nods walking out, I watch him down the stairs and out the front door where I slam it shut behind him and lock it. "Daddy," she calls after me. "I'm really sorry," she pouts a little giving me her big doe eyes. "Mama?" She questions but she doesn't say much only looks down.

"I'm so disappointed Aoife," I usually just call her my warrior princess or angel or some kind of nick name like that but I'm not in a playful mood anymore. "I trusted you."
