Chap 4.

I got home and ran up the stairs trying to avoid my family and their questions about where I was. I had so much to think about. How I got the guy I've always wanted, but I still wanted someone else. All my emotions drained from me when my phone lit up and it was connor. I had no ideas what it was going to say and it scared me. I read it anyway.

The text read " hey I know we were distant today but if you're not busy we can catch up tomorrow?"

A smile escaped my mouth untill I realized Sophia's threat.

"No. Sorry. I don't think we should Hang out anymore. I'm starting fresh and I don't to Intend to start fresh with you. Goodbye connor." I texted back. As much as I wanted to tell connor how much I needed him. Tell him about Daniel . I was not risking Sophia taking Daniel away from me too. I turned off my phone not wanting to know what he was going to reply .

As soon as I arrived at school the next day I rushed to Daniel , I wanted to see him so badly. As I made it to Daniels locker I saw him and connor talking. I felt like backing up and acted like I never was on my way to his locker, but I couldn't fight the feeling of seeing him so I went to his locker.

"Hey Daniel." I tried saying in a sexy voice but It didn't come out the way I wanted. I could feel my face turning red.

"Hey babe." He had the cutest smile on his face.

"Babe?" Connor questioned. "Is this why you don't want to be friends.."

I blankly starred at him. Sophia said I couldn't talk to him and besides it wasn't worth explaining, he wouldn't believe me anyway.

"I'll talk to you later Daniel. I have to uh.. Go to the bathroom. " I walked away before either of them could say anything.

Although Daniel was the only person Who made me happy,i still had feelings for connor . I tried ignoring them but, they were with me wherever I went. Early in the morning or late at night. Thoughts of him consumed my mind. I wanted Daniel but maybe only for a distraction. I became lost in my own thought I walked right into Sophia.

"Sorry . " she said sweetly until she noticed me . She made a disgusted face,

"You better be staying away from connor."

"You got what you wanted." I said as I picked up her notebook off the floor.

"Good. Now the news about you and Daniel is that true?"

"My love life is none of your concerned." I said as I walked away from her.

During lunch I sat next to Daniel. His table was full of football jocks and typical teenage boys who acted like assholes. Mid way through lunch all of his jock friends left to go somewhere. I didn't bother asking because I was happy they were finally gone.

"So . What was that conversation of you and connor not being friends? Is it really because of me?" He tried to sound concerned but I knew he was happy.

"Awe you think it's because of you ."

"It isn't?"

"No sorry. But you have to believe me when I say this. Connors girlfriend threatened me if I didn't stop talking to him. I just did what she said because I didn't want to loose you too."

" you wouldn't of . Now let's go tell connor . He's right over there ." He pointed to a table all the way in the far right corner of the cafeteria. "He's not with Sophia."

"No you don't understand how much this risks for me. Can we not please. I just want to be happy. Connor or not , besides he doesn't seem to need us anyways." I held in all my tears , it pained me to say that more than anything.
