I want to get into a car and drive to nowhere

Far away from all the sights and the sounds

From all the love and all the pain

From the hateful words and promises of it all being just for fun

I want to disappear

Even if it's just for a little while

From all the people I know

From all the people who claim to know me

I want to get away

From everything and everyone

From those who I'm not even sure care about me

From those who I wish I could just forget about and who always forget about me

I want to leave behind

All the tears and all the memories

All the lies and forgotten promises

All the people that say they care and never mean it
