Element 115.
Friday, August 28th, 11:00 AM.
Savannah's Point of View.
...
"We have to take a picture!" Neko shouted, jumping up and down. "Take one now as a group and at the end of the day as a group.
A chorus of 'hell yeah' came from the rest of us.
I stopped someone, asking them if they could take our picture. They agreed.
I wrapped one arm around my girl and the other around Dre as we-we being me, Dre, Neko, Heaven, Robo, Unara, and my girl Stefanie-all posed for a picture.
After we got our picture taken and I got my phone back, we started walking around.
"Well, me and Stef are gonna go find the Supernatural booth. We'll catch up with y'all soon." I told the group.
We started walking off and heard Neko yell,
"Don't fuck while you're alone!"
And then heard Heaven agree,
"Yeah! Don't do anything we wouldn't do!"
A pause.
"In public!" She added.
I rolled my eyes and continued walking with Stefanie.
...
12:00 PM.
Savannah's Point of View.
...
We all met up for lunch, sitting relatively close to each other.
God, what a sight we must be. Stef and I are gender bent Winchesters, Neko is his own character 'The Nightmare', Heaven is a gender bent Link, Dre is Ichigo Kurosaki, Robo is Dovahkiin from Skyrim, and Unara is a gender bent Hatsune Miku.
"Hey, there's a Call of Duty zombie thing at 12:30, y'all wanna go?" I wondered.
Unara groaned, rolling his eyes.
"Fuck Call of Duty."
I laughed a little and corrected myself,
"Anyone, besides Unara, wanna go?"
They all, besides Unara, agreed.
...
12:30 PM.
Savannah's Point of View.
...
We as a group filled up an entire row of chairs, the front row to be exact. Everyone cheered when the speaker walked on stage.
"So many people here today," He smiled. "Such a great turn out."
Something feels off about all of this.
"So, I assume many, if not all of you, are fans of Call of Duty." He chuckled. "Or just dragged along by one of your friends. So," His smile turned sinister. "How many of you have played Zombies on Call of Duty?"
I raised my hand and looked around, seeing that only Dre, Stefanie, and I are the only ones to raise our hands out of our row.
"Good, good," The man laughed. "Then maybe you know of a virus called Element 115."
Everything went dark as the lights were switched off and only a single light on stage flickered on, revealing a rather large, green slimy like figure in a cage.
"This is test subject number 582," He grinned. "Her name was Jenny."
I looked at Stefanie who has her gaze directed at the stage, her eyes wide. I looked back at the stage as the man continued.
"We've been working on a real zombie virus that you can't come back from and it turns you in a matter of mere minutes." He chuckled evilly. "The only way out is death."
"We need to get outta here." Dre whispered to me.
I nodded wordlessly.
I grabbed Stefanie's hand and stood up, watching as everyone did the same.
"Our audience today is so large, we just had to show them the virus up close and personal. In the words of Effie Trinket," The man pushed a button and the zombie started moving out of his cage. "May the odds be ever in your favor."
The lights came on and all around there were zombies.
"Run, now!" I yelled, running around a zombie and leading Stefanie with me.
We came face to face with a zombie in a matter of seconds. I ducked and so did she, us going under the arm of the zombie and running.
We got to the main lobby where all the booths and stuff are and saw millions of them. I quickly hid in a closed booth, everyone following me.
"Holy fuck," Dre cursed and then his eyes widened. "Where's Unara?!"
I gaped.
"I don't fuckin' know! He didn't wanna go with us because he hates Call of Duty! Fuck," I shook my head. "He could be anywhere."
"God damnit Unara," Neko muttered. "Well we have to find him. We can't just leave him behind."
"How Neko? We have no weapons, no armor, how the fuck are we supposed to get through this hoard of zombies?" Heaven questioned.
I turned on my flashlight on my iPod and looked around, seeing that we're in a Japan booth. I grinned.
Katanas.
"Here," I started grabbing katanas from the wall and handing them to everyone. "We'll use these to fight them off."
"Okay, but what about armor? How are we going to keep from getting scratched or bitten?" Dre question.
I looked around again, finding armor on a separate wall. I grinned at my friends.
"Grab some and let's go."
