The New Mission

Fury's POV-
I looked at everyone seeing there jaw practically hit the floor. Elli comes up and hugs me after finally recovering from her state of shock.

I almost smile at her seeing Raven with a collar on her neck she looked ok aside from the fact that she had scrapes and bruises on her face and arms.

Her hair is frizzy at the ends and she occasionally stiffens. "Let's see if we can get that off you." Coulson says snapping me out of my trance. She nods walking with him but she has a distant look in her eyes. I can't tell what it is.

Raven's POV-
Flashback-

I was in a room with beige walls laying on a bed. "It's time to go to sleep now." Said a man walking into my room I could see his facial features but they where still blurry.

"Daddy," Younger me said. "Will I be a superhero like Captain America? Uncle Phil showed me some cards and said he was the best hero ever!" Younger me exclaimed her purple eyes shining.

"Of course you can be anything if you work hard at it." The man said. Younger me giggled. "Ok, I'm going to go to so I can get started tomorrow!" Younger me exclaimed making the man playfully shushing me and chuckle.

I shushed him before turning over. "Love you dad." Younger me said. "I love you too Raven." He said before closing the door.

End of Flashback-

When I snapped out of my daze I am in the same room as when they operated on Fury.

I can tell someone is looking at me through the glass but I ignore it as I stiffen again from the electricity that's still in my veins.

The doctor brought out a tool and started to drill holes into the collar. It started to shock me at first but I pressed until the collar came clean off. I sighed happily and started to test my powers.

I teleported density shifted and turned invisible everything seemed to be working.

I thanked the doctor and walked out of the door where everyone else was.

"So," I asked gaining everyone's attention. "what's the plan?"

Later
Raven's POV-
"Alright everyone assume position." Fury said over the comm. I stood in front of a helicarrier before running to it seeing the coast was clear.

I made sure I had the chip before climbing aboard only to be greeted by agents with their guns at the ready.

This'll be fun!

Leaping into the air I land a kick on the first guys chest making him stagger back he throws a punch at me I dodge grabbing his hand just in time to use him as a human shield before throwing him at three more agents knocking them down.

4 down 6 to go.

They all crowd around me I attempt to roundhouse kick them but one of them grabs my leg and throws me off the catwalk. I groan looking up I see them pointing their guns at me. I teleport behind them hitting one of them in the neck knocking them out.

5 down 5 to go.

Suddenly bullets fire all around me I cross my arms over my chest all of the bullets ricochet as a purple force field formed around me firing the bullets back at them.

10 down none to go.

I walk from the scene and back to the catwalk into a small control panel putting the chip into the slot before teleporting to the ground.

The helicarrier crashed in the water. I smirked to myself breathing hard. Teleporting takes a lot out of you. Turning toward another helicarrier before teleporting again to be met by Sam fighting with the Winter Soldier I attempted to help only to get a bloody nose since he grabbed me hair and repeatedly punched me in the face until I kicked his chin hearing a satisfying cracking nose.

Nearby I saw the woman shooting at Steve.

Turning my attention back to the Winter Soldier I saw that he fell back dropping me as I fell to the ground. I looked for Sam and found him inserting the chip but the Winter Solider didn't seem to notice because he picked me back up sending a few punches to the ribs. I heard them cracking as I cried out in pain. He then threw me out of a window.

I saw Sam attempt to dive after me but the Winter Soldier grabbed one of his wings ripping it off before pushing him over the edge. I closed my eyes and breathed. Sam started to fall faster than me since he had more weight on him.

I opened my eyes and grabbed his hand as the air left me lungs. He deployed his parachute and we started to slow down. More bullets were fired at us and I created a force field around us as we landed.

Killing the snipers.

"Could use some help here Sam. Or you Raven." Cap said over the comms. I was about to reply when a missile was blown at us.

Knocking me out.

Flashback-

"Daddy, why do I have to go away?" Younger me asked as I lay my head on someone's shoulder. "Well we have to protect you and this is the best way to do it." He replied. I yawned. "But this doesn't mean I'll ever stop loving you." He said pulling me to look at his face he looked familiar like Fury.

Then I realized that IS Fury!

Then the flashback ended.

But what is he doing in my flashbacks? I'll have to ask my parents later.

I woke up in the place where they removed that collar with doctors surrounding me. I looked around and saw my parents looking through the vent.

I sat up wincing in pain. The doctors told me to lay back down but I didn't. Suddenly there was a knock at the door Sam and Elli came in.

"How are you?" Elli asked with a sincere smile. "I've been better. Did we win?" I asked her. She smiled nodding. "When are you getting released?" Sam asked. "No idea I just woke up." I said looking back to the vents to see my mother and father looking at me with serious looks. "How's Steve?" I asked. Elli smiled sheepishly. "He's still asleep. He got beat up really bad." Sam said answering for Elli.

"Well can I see him?" I asked. "That's not a good idea." A doctor said speaking up. I groaned. "Fine." I said in defeat. "Can you tell me my condition?" I asked the doctor. "Three broken ribs, a broken nose, and a slight concussion." He said looking me in the eye. "We'll need to keep you here for about three days because of the concussion.

I sighed. This will be a long three days.
