Reminiscence

"How are those two doing?" Polnareff asked as he smoked his cigarette and all of us walking around town.

"Avdol's neck wound didn't damage anything vital, so he would be release tomorrow. As for Kakyoin his injuries are serious he might go blind" Mr. Joestar informed.

"Sadly Kakyoin might be out of action for the rest of the trip" Jotaro added.

"Uhm, lets forget of the sad part and lets go relax for a bit" I suggested

"Midori is right" Polnareff responded "there's a lot of cafes around, lets go get a drink and relax," Polnareff flicks his cigarette, when it landed the burning tip pointed at a cafe called Maxim.

"What would you like?" the person running the store asked as we just settle down.

"Let's see... I'd would like some black tea" Polnareff responded to the waiter

"Same" Jotaro responded

"Four black tea then?" the waiter asked

"No, we'd better not" Mr. Joestar stopped the order, "we're in Egypt, that means we're in enemy territory. More enemies are around after us more than ever before, and we don't know when to attack. We have to be more careful than we've ever been when it comes to poison, from now on, only drink from bottles or cans"

"What? Are you serious?" Polnareff protested

"I am serious, hey! Forget about the black tea. We're going to have cola instead" Mr. Joestar told the waiter

"Cola?!" the waiter looked at us with a worried expression.

"Yeah, something wrong with that?" Jotaro responded coldly.

"N-No. Okay. Cola, right? Four cola it is then"

"Oh, and we'll take the caps off at the table ourselves, also I want the second, third, fourth, and fifth colas from the right" Mr. Joestar informed the waiter.

"Hey, manager! This cola isn't cold at all! Your shop severs warm cola? I'm not going to pay you jackass!" a costumer yelled out

"Hey, are the colas not cold?" Mr. Joestar asked

"The refrigerator is broken" the waiter responded

"You're being to paranoid" Polnareff said to Mr. Joestar, "even if that guy were our enemy, and if he were really trying to poison us. How would he know we would be coming here? This city has all of these cafes, and I happen to choose this one. If there were only one cafe, maybe it could happen, but there are plenty"

"I'm just saying being careful can't hurt" Mr. Joestar responded to Polnareff

"If you're so concerned then lets change cafes, we'll go the one across the street" Polnareff suggested as we got up, and looked at a fire near the cafe across the street.

"My cafe is on fire!" a person yelled, "a spark from a cigarette some jackass left in the road got into the trash!"

"Hey manager! We'll take four black teas after all" Mr. Joestar quickly called out sitting ourselves back down.

"Man, to throw away a lit cigarette in the trash, this world sure has some real jerks in it" Polnareff mentioned

I looked at him with a grin of trying not to laugh, "shut up Polnareff"

"Eek! This dog ate my cake" a woman cried out. "Who the hell brought a dog here?"

All of us spit out our sip of the tea seeing that it was Iggy in the cafe, the woman throw plate at the dog as he dodge it and running out of the cafe. We all started to chase Iggy, after a good while we decided to let him go and get to the hospital.

"I'm going to go walking to the hospital" Jotaro informed.

"We'll meet you there then, Midori you should go with Jotaro" Polnareff winked at me.

I looked both at Mr. Joestar and Polnareff, both gave me a small smile. I felt someone pulled me back and having their arm around my shoulders, looking up seeing it was Jotaro having a small red tint on his cheeks.

Taking the route to the hospital to see how Kakyoin and Avdol is doing, Jotaro's arm around my shoulder never left pulling me a bit closer to him as we walked. I looked up to see his usual angry looking stale face, until he caught my eyes staring.

"What are you looking at?" He asked playfully lighting his face with a small smirk. 

"We actually look like a couple, walking around like this." My cheeks started to feel warmer, "it makes me wonder what it would be like if we show it around school, they might get a wrong impression, or so shocked that we're both ended up being together" 

"Are you saying it's a bad thing?"

"No, I'm not saying that, before me and you met each other. I've heard a lot of things girls wants to dream about, you being their one and only lover boy. Even them knowing you get into fights a lot, they still see you as prince charming for your own looks." 

"Well, I heard things about you as well before I met you" 

"Wait what?"

He smirked again, "well what I heard was only facts about you" 

"What facts?"

"There's one to many" he teased

"Spill it! Or I'm going to break your knees!" 

He chuckled a bit, "okay okay I'll tell you, guys had been talking about this racer. This guy that I had as a friend explained to me that he wanted to see the guy in person, and he pestered me to go and see it with him. So I did and we we're at the very end, we saw the car drift at the last hair pin. Everyone cheered for the winner of course and excited to see the face of the champion that night, when the driver got out my friend was so in shocked that it was a girl. Little did I know that girl is in the same grade as me, and already have a crowd of fan boys following her in the same school I go to. Never in a million years I would think that she would be in the same class as me in our second year."

"I remember now that race took place before the starting of our high school year, so that means... You knew me before we met each other? How come I'm finding out this now and not the time we got to know each other?" 

Jotaro lifted his arm off my shoulder to only grab my hand, "I wanted to but then we ended up having this situation of this journey so I didn't explained anything, and I didn't actually thought we would end up enjoying each others company"

"Well Jotaro Kujo, I hope you know what you got"

"I do, I got the most beautiful rare emerald of the world"

I laughed at his comment, "when we get home we better go on dates"

I tighten our intertwined fingers a bit with a smile on my face while getting to the hospital, "Uh, well if it isn't Jotaro and Midori" we both looked behind seeing Mr. Joestar and Polnareff.

"Hey, took you long enough" Jotaro respond.

"Long enough? You're way too quick at taking a shit outside!" Polnareff commented

"You got here faster than a car" Mr. Joestar added "and you're jacket is back from the cleaners too"

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked to both Polnareff and Mr. Joestar

An ambulance arrived sounding its sirens, "looks like someone's hurt" Jotaro claimed

"That's too bad" Polnareff was holding a bag of oranges 

"Oranges, huh? I was getting thirsty. I'm going to have one" Jotaro grabbed one out of the bag and began to peal it. 

"Well let get going and visit Kakyoin and Avdol" Mr. Joestar demanded
