We run

They follow us through the haven of the trees. They, the lords that say that you're royalty and deserve the luxuries of the upper classes and the so-called saints that call me a demon, chase us through the woods we have called home since as long as I remember.

I see the fear in your eyes as we both dash for any place that could offer us safety. These mountains are a long way from the kingdom of gluttony, Althia.

"Evelyn stop!" The voice of your cruel Uncle rings through the forest

I spot the cave that once provided me the flowers that I used to place in your hair with love. It once provided me with flowers, it will now provide us a sanctuary.

They look for us throughout the woods as we lie low and stay hidden. I see those tears in your eyes. I see them and feel helpless that I can't drive them away.

Dusk appears and the sun disappears behind the majestic hills. I know they will give up their search for us. This is our home, only we can navigate here even in the dark. They are scared. And considering that my friend stalks them, they should be.

My friend could kill the leader of their party, your Uncle John, and they would never come back, but I cannot ask him to do it, he is the only family you have.

When I know they're gone, we trek down to the cabin that they didn't know to search for. You look into my eyes and say you find comfort in my embrace. We build a fire and I go in to get some berries that we had gathered. As I come out I see you talking to your pet and friend, a puppy named Hord, like you do when you think I cannot hear you.

You say if you ceased to exist then the stars would still shine, the sun would still rise and set, the moon would still be beautiful, the mountains would still be majestic and the ocean would still be royal.

But you don't know that if you ceased to exist, I would fight against all of them to bring you back... Whatever the price
