Dream
I’m lying on top of the clouds watching over you,
I’m almost like your guardian angel but instead I’m waiting for you.
I dream about all the things we could do together,
I dream about us being together.
I dream about us ruling the world together,
Someday, somehow.
I dream about your lips against my own,
I dream that one day you are my own.
I dream about our trust,
I dream about us together forever until we turn to dust.
I dream about us every night,
I try to forget you but you’re my knight in shining armor.
How I wish that your love was real and deep,
But you’re just a dream that I made up in my sleep.
