The rain falling from the dark, grey sky,
Reminds me of my life flashing before me in the blink of an eye.
The beautiful, colorful rainbows turned to dark grey shadows,
The time I gave you was supposed to last forever.
But instead, you let me shiver,
The love I had for you was unconditional.
But you just gave me the opposite of perpetual,
For I loved you,
But you didn't in return.
You let me down,
You hurt me and I fought back,
But I deserve better than you.
