"Ok babe I have to go out now," Dave said and kissed me.

"You'll be amazing," I said

"You're too kind." I watched from backstage as the Foo Fighters played. I still get the same excitement watching Dave perform as I did 25 years ago. I got a text from our son Jason saying  that he's coming home from the party he's at. After Dave and I got married we had 2 kids. Jason and Nina. We still see Shelli and Krist at least twice a week and they are the godparents of Jason and Nina. We see Courtney occasionally but Frances often comes down and stays with us, I still miss Kurt everyday but Frances really reminds me of him.  The band finished playing and Dave thanked everyone. Dave and I were going out for dinner after the concert since it is our 21st wedding anniversary.

"I would like to call my lovely wife to the stage," he said. I nervously walked onto the stage next to him.
"Tonight happens to be our 21st wedding anniversary. 27 years ago I first laid eyes on on Mel and that was when I fell in love. We have gone so through so much and I so happy happy to have called you mine for 27 years." Everyone in the crowed cheered and Dave and I kissed. I then saw Nina, Frances and Jason come onto the stage. Everyone was clapping and I saw a few crying tears of joy. Jason, Frances and Nina hugged us.
"Love you mum," Jason and Nina said. I kissed them both on tne cheek.
"Love you Mel," Frances said.
"Oh how you remind me of Kurt," I said and hugged her. We all walked off stage into the dressing rooms. Shelli and Krist were waiting backstage for us. We all talked then the kids and Frances went back to the house and Dave and I went to celebrate our anniversary.
"Love you so much," I said to Dave.
"Love you more," he said and kissed my cheek. Oh how life is sweet.
