My friend,
Long have I resisted.
The urge.
The need.
Now,
I hold the knife.
A life or death situation.
A challange,
A puzzle,
A choice.
Every time I come close,
You take it.
You brighten my day,
Just enough,
To take it away.
I know,
You won't always be there.
To soften the blow,
Deflect the bullet,
Save me.
But this is my apology,
For depending on you,
To keep me sane.
This is my apology,
For ignoring you.
For faking it.
For lying.
Take it.Take it,
And know,
That you saved me,
Again.
I'm just barely holding on,
And you're one of the ledges.
If you crumble, I will fall.
If you collapse,
I will too.
Life would be devistating,
Pointless without you.
My friend.
The person I trust the most.
You were there when he said
Hello?
There when I was on the edege,
Ready to jump.
To give up.
This is my thank you,
For keeping my grounded.
Take it...
