Kat's POV:

I wake up for school every day with the same routine. I get yelled at by my mother, I get dressed, do my hair ect. Even though it was just a normal day for being a senior in 1st semester. I knew in my head that today felt different. Today felt special. Aside from the "special" day today. It really was just a normal day. My friend Cecelia always picks me up at the same time everyday and we go to school. I head to my locker to pick up my first half of the day school books. As I turned around somebody bumped into me and made me drop my books. I bent down to grab them and when I looked up to see who it was I couldn't believe it. Michael Ortega the hottest boy in the school with his dark brown hair and gorgeous green eyes and prefect crooked smile with straight teeth. The good thing about him is that he broke up with hi ex-girlfriend Nikki Patrouski. Michael helped me pick up the books.

"Sorry about that I wasn't watching were I was going." Michael Apologized.

"Don't worry about it, it's all fine." I replied

He gave me a smile. Once all the books were picked up he walked away with his three idiot best friends: Kyle Hansdro, Ryan Molawy, Anthony Lukens. The three of them kept looking back at me as if they were talking about me. Cecelia walked right next to me.

"What?" I questioned.

"Michael gave you the look! Michael gave you the smile and the eyes he gave Nikki when they were dating!" She exclaimed.

"Okay..."

"So maybe he likes you!"

"Not even" I spoke as the late bell came on. As the new quarter started classes changed. Well at least the order did. Which means new class mates. My first period was English. I walked to English after I said my goodbye to Cecelia. I walked into my new class and sat down in a seat. The seats in the class where paired. I wonder who will sit next to me?

"Mr. Ortega why are you late to first period already?"

Asked Mrs. Jey

"Sorry." He responded.

"Pick a seat."

Michael looked around and spotted me and one friend Michael he stood there for a split second and came next to me.

"This seat taken?" He said.

I shook my head and he sat down. I was surprised he sat next to me when he had Anthony to sit next to. While class was going on I felt him looking at me. Michael would catch glimpses of me every now and then. Before class ended Anthony asked if he could see my notes very quick. He wrote something in side of it. The bell rang and I opened the note book

"Hey I thought you were really pretty this morning. oh and sorry for bumping into you. Mickey Ortega" the note ended with his number and a simple "you should text me." I smiled. I thought "I knew it was a special day today!"
