Conor's P.O.V

The last week in LA had been a fucking mess, only because of the rather unpleasant meeting with Victoria that managed to awaken the whole of the British media and put me into somekind of bad, cheating boyfriend who didn't care about his girlfriend in any kind of way, situation.

Even Jess had stopped calling me, telling me she wanted me to explain everything when I get back instead of over phone and I don't know if I should take that as a good sign or not.

At least I was back on the English soil today and it wouldn't be long until I got to meet the two girls that I adore the most.

Parking outside our large house do I sigh, I'm finally home yet my heart is pounding fast in my chest as I walk over to the door, scared of what I'm about to encounter as soon as the door open.

"Baby I'm home!"

I close my eyes, waiting to hear the sound of Leonelle's bare feet against the wooden floor as she'd come running down from her room although nothing happens, instead I'm opening my eyes to a broke looking Jess. Her face all puffy from tears and her hair in an interesting condition.

Reaching my arms out to pull her close does she take a step back, shaking her head as she tries to blink away the tears.

"Baby what's wrong?"

Her eyes meet mine for a short second before she turn her gaze back to the floor, letting my heart sink in my chest.

"I don't think you'd be happy if you found out someone's cheated on you whilst away in America, now everyone knows about it!"

I jump slightly as she screams at me, the anger bubbling inside of me as I realise how wrong she's taking it.

"Shhh, let's handle this like adults shall we, we'll only scare Leonelle if we continue like this"

Walking past her do I stop in the middle of the hallway, my arms crossed over my chest as I breathe heavily.

"She's not here because I knew this would happen, it always does even though we promise each other to not do it again every single time it happens"

She stand still and I know her way too well not to see how scared and overall let down she's feeling.

"It's not true though, the articles are fake, I'd never cheat on you baby, I promised that four years ago and I still stand by that today"

I pull my hand through my messy hair, looking at her stood only a couple of meters away from me. All I wanted to do was hug her, hold her and tell her how much I love her yet she'd probably hit me if I got any closer and I'd like to keep abuse out of this argument.

"How am I going to believe that when everywhere I look someone's telling me the opposite! How Conor!"

She slam her hand against the wall beside her, shaking it as the pain hits her.

"Because I love you, because you trust me!"

I once again reach out my hand, taking a few steps forward as she lets me come closer.

"Do I?!"

She look up at me through glossy eyes, her cheeks wet from the tears.

"Since when haven't you trusted me Jessica, it's been four long years to get to where we are today and I've never doubted you since I met you and I've given you full access to my heart and my career so that you wouldn't doubt me. I have done everything I can to not make us end up like me and Victoria did"

I grab her hand in mine, intertwining our fingers as I run my thumb over her knuckles softly.

"Just trust me on this one baby, please. The way she talked to me was disgusting and I'd never leave you for her or anyone else, ever. Why would I go back to someone that caused me so much pain?"
