always written on her
notebook.
hidden in titles
and little hearts at the corners
of her pages.
she thinks she's known your name
even before she'd ever found
the syllables in her mouth.
she's been waiting for you
for a long time.
maybe forever.
maybe much longer than that.
so please,
don't write your name
on anybody else's notebook.
please stay.
