~Amber~

It was impossible to think of anyone else.

It was overwhelming how little space in their mind wasn't occupied by those unforgettable sensations and experiences.

It was crazy how quickly a person gets so addicted to another person's thoughts and words that without them they feel like an addict without their drug.

That form of escape, that thirst for getting to know their innermost thoughts, that search for being one with them, until everything else was a senseless singularity; it was overpowering and engulfing, like the Mount Vesuvius pouring out its fiery contents onto the Pompeii's innocent.

She hated every bit of it, she loved it to bits.

It wasn't something she could control and she neither wanted nor hoped to control it.

She had made up her mind.

It was an unforgivable deed, what her mother had done. And she must suffer for it. She knew what she had to do.

"Anthony? We need to meet. Ray's Diner at 7 tonight. It's something to do with our parents. I think I know how we can help those hurt and make the inflictors of hurt feel the scars we carry with us."

I finally reached the dorm door. Putting my ear to the door, I heard for any sounds inside, I needed to make a call.

Hearing no one, I tiptoed inside and sat on my beige bed squashed with four other similar looking beds in the dimly lit dormitory.

Matron Sienna had forbidden us from fully closing the door of our dormitory but this was important, really important.

"Hello? I've made up my mind. I'll be there with the package tonight. In return...I get her."
