I woke up to my alarm screeming in my ear.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
I hit it a few times until I found the snooze button.
"Good morning" said a voice.
I jerked and and looked around my room.
"Kat it's just me" said the voice again.
Oh! I forgot I had a facetime sleepover with Hayes.
"Oh hey I forgot you were there haha"
"It's okay. How'd you sleep?" Hayes asked awkwardly.
"Good I guess. You?" I replied.
Why was I so jittery around him?
I had butterflies swirling in my stomach.
No, Kat. You cannot like your only friend.
"Hello?"
"Oh sorry! I zoned out a little..."
Why did I say that?
"Well I have to get ready for school! Sorry to wake you up so early" I apologized.
"No don't worry about it it's totally fine"
His voice was groggy and raspy from just waking up. Aww that's so cute!
"Okay well I'll text you after school or something"
"Okay bye Kat"
"Oh wait Hayes!"
"Yeah?" he said.
Should I tell him about my channel?
"I uh, made a youtube channel a couple nights ago..." I trailed off.
"Oh cool! I'll check it out!" he said.
"Alright thank you! Bye" I said.
"Bye Kat" said Hayes.

I finally got home after a long day at school jam packed with tests.
It probably felt long because I could'nt stop thinking about going to magcon this weekend and meeting Hayes in person. Especially because my parents are gone for the weekend, so I'm planning to stay at the hotel friday and saturday night.
More improtantly, I couldn't stop thinking about Hayes.
Every once in a while, his bright blue eyes and perfect smile came across my mind.
I kept telling myself I couldn't like him because he was my only friend. But you know what? It wouldn't matter because if he felt the same way, I wouldn't need friends because I'd have him.
I decided to check up on my youtube channel to see how many views I got.
I turned on my laptop and logged in to my channel.

Then all of the sudden, my laptop started blowing up.
