*Taylor's POV*

I wake up and look at my phone. It reads 10:37 AM. Wow I slept late. Even though today is Saturday I never get up this late. Oh well. At least I don't have anything to  do today. I get up and grab a quick shower. Then I get dressed. I put on a pair of black, ripped skinny jeans and my favorite hoodie. The hoodie is a Jacksepticeye one that reads "Booper Dooper" in neon green lettering. I slip on my converse before I head downstairs.

"Mom! I'm going to Starbucks and the park for a bit!" I yell out, unsure where my mom might be.

"Alright sweetie! Stay safe!" she yelled back a moment later.

I grab my phone and earbuds before walking out the door. I put in my earbuds and start playing music off of Spotify. I play my favorite playlist and mouth along to the words of the songs as I walk down the side walk of my city. I admire the scenery as I walk. Fall has just started and the leaves on the trees already look gorgeous in their various shades of red and orange.

I arrive at the Starbucks and take my earbuds out as I order. I get a Pumpkin Spice Latte. How could I not? It's fall. Don't judge me for being an average white girl. I sit at a small table for two in the corner of the shop near a window. I put one earbud back in and look out the window admiring the fall season as I sip my coffee.

I watch as couples walk past the shop window hand in hand enjoying the nice, cool weather. I smile as little children play in the park across the street. They gather leaves into a pile to jump into. Then they would regather the leaves and do it all over again. The I see a couple only a few yards away standing under a tree with bright orange leaves. They share a simple kiss as their friend takes a photo. I smile at the thought of having that one day.

My thought's are interrupted when a male voice spoke beside me. "Excuse me, is this seat taken?" He spoke with a slight accent that I could not quite place.

"No, not at all. You can sit here if you'd like." I answer with a friendly smile. The guy sits down with his coffee cup and a bagel. He looks about my age. maybe a year older. "I'm Taylor by the way." I stick out my hand for him to shake.

"Nice to meet you, Taylor. I'm Mark. I just moved here." He shakes my hand and smiles.

"Really? Where from?" I ask him.

"I moved from Ireland." He says. That explains the accent.

"That's so cool. That's where my favorite YouTuber is from." I tell him with a smile.

"I thought that that was a Jacksepticeye shirt. I like his videos too." Mark tells me.

"So how long have you been here?" I ask politely.

"We just go here a few days ago. I start school Monday. I am super nervous." He lets out a nervous chuckle before taking a sip of his drink.

"Do you know what school you will be going to?" I ask curious to see if he will be at my school.

"I am going to (Insert name of a high school)." That's my school. I begin to get a little excited. Have I just made a new friend?

"That's where I go to school. What grade are you in? I'm a Junior." I hope he is a junior too.

"I'm in grade eleven."

I smile. "That's great! Maybe we will get some classes together and I can show you around Monday." I suggest.

"That would be amazing. I don't want to get lost my first day in an American school." He smiles, seeming to really like my idea.

I smiled and finished the last of my coffee. I stand so that I can leave. "Well I'm gonna head out.."
