You never know what the future holds…
“Allison are you almost finished packing?” my mom called.
“Yeah be down in a sec!” I yelled closing the last cardboard box. I sighed looking around my now empty room. This room was full of so many memories. I never really wanted to move but I knew my mom would feel better getting away from the old memories of my father in this house. My father’s name was Nathan, he was a good parent, and he would always take care of me and my brother Nick when we were sick, he loved us with all his heart. Don’t get me wrong my mother loved and cared for us too, she still does, but I was more of a ‘daddy’s girl’ type. He passed away less than a year ago of a heart attack. I remember it so well because I was there when he went. He was lying in his bed and I was sitting beside him while her was telling stories about his childhood: ypu would think it would be boring hearing some parent talk about their childhood but I loved his stories they were the best! My dad always knew how to make me smile but in the middle of one of his stories he grabbed his chest then everything got quiet I knew he had passed but I kept screaming for him to come back. I still cry every once in a while but, lately I’ve gotten better.
BEEP! BEEP!
“Come on Allison we’re waiting on you!” Nick yelled from the car while honking the horn.
“I’m coming!” I yelled back wiping away a stray tear and heading down the steps.
“Don’t forget to lock the door!” Mom said getting into the passenger seat.
I made sure the door was locked, took one last look at the house I’m going to miss it for sure. I got in the car with my last box and my brother pulled out ofthe drive way.
Goodbye old life I thought as the house grew smaller and smaller eventually disappearing completely from my view.

So what do you think?
I don't really know where to go with this but I'm trying to think up something original!
This story is a work in progress but I would appreciate it if no one copies my ideas. Please don't do it!
