Tord was carelessly tossed to the side, sliding on the ground. He tumbled before coming to a sudden stop, only to hit his head on a small boulder. "T-Tom, i said i was sorry..let's just forget about it, ok?"
He asked before he sat up and groaned lowly. He rubbed the back of his head, a sharp pain emitting from it. He panicked when he felt something drip onto his neck. He checked his hand, only to see it dotted with a dark crimson liquid.
Blood.
Tord's breath audibly hitched as he looked up at the monster in front of himself. Tom's eye was glowing red, a faint mist emitting from it that faded into the air as soon as it came. His skin was now dark purple fur, almost black as two horns stuck out the top of his head and his ears more animalistic. He was on all fours and had claws for hands and feet; to make it worse, he easily towered over Tord.
Tord's eyes dilated as Tom lunged forward, pouncing on him with a demonic growl. Tord's head slammed onto the ground, causing the previous wound to bleed more.
His vision began fading as tom aligned his jaws with Tord's throat, ready to bite down and crush it, instantly killing him.
No.
Tord teared up as he choked out a small 's-stop..'.
Tom paused and let out a low growl, allowing him to talk.
"t-this isn't you.." Tord said louder, his breathing a mix of fast and slow.
Tom snarled and tightened his grip on Tord's throat, his teeth already sinking in.
Tord gathered the last bit of strength before he yelled, "the Tom i know and love wouldn't do this!!"
Tom went quiet.
"i know that's you Tom, and i know you hate me, but i don't hate you. And i know you won't do this. You're not able to, because deep down, you don't hate me either. I know that there's a light in you, and it never goes out." he said, his voice breaking, causing Tom to flinch and step back.
Tom made a low whimper as looked down at his claws, standing on his hind legs.
He made a low gurgling sound, as if he was trying to talk; staring at Tord. Tord shakily stood up and clutched the back of his head before showing Tom the blood on his hand.
"you did this. You did this because you let the darkness consume the light."
Tom's ears pinned back, his eyes faded to black as he shrunk in size; tears slipping from his eyes as he took a step towards Tord. He made another gurgling sound; Tord being able to make out a small 'sorry' in the middle of it.
Tord's breathing was unstable and shaky as he tried to calm it. "you might be afraid of the darkness, but I'm not. And i know that no matter what, that light inside of you is never going to burn out. It'll last forever until you die, like a star." Tord said, staring up at tom.
Tom whimpered before he walked up to tord, only mere inches away.
"I'm sorry. I love you too," Tom whispered before pouncing on Tord and sinking a single claw into his heart, his eyes turning a dark red again.
"but the light went out a long time ago."

A/n: i had this idea and i know it's crap i just wanted to write it. It's really rushed and sloppy because i need to finish like 2 essays so I'm too lazy to actually proof read it.
