The alarms went off in the most unsubtle way possible. It scared the living shit out Jackson. It even made him drop his phone.
The class was silent for a second, then the alarm went off again.

Jackson looked toward his teacher, something he almost never did since the tenth. Mrs Williams looked shocked, but immediately got into the leadership role.
"Get in your assigned hiding places, now" She whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.
No one disagreed, and everyone got in their spots.
Jackson ruffled his auburn hair, not knowing what he was feeling. Was he scared? Not any more than the he usually was. Was he anxious? Maybe.
The teacher reached into her desk, and pulled something out. He couldn't tell what.
Suddenly, gun shots were rung. Jackson couldn't see where it had came from, it sounded like the outside. He looked at his fellow students. Some cowered in fear, some curious, but none brave enough to find out.
The teacher began taking attendance silently. Marking down names one by one.
He dropped his clipboard, and a loud "BANG" rung out.
This made a girl scream, Jackson knew her, her name was Caroline.
"Shut the fuck up" Someone whispered, cupping their hand over her mouth.
Mrs Williams feel to her knees and whispered "Chelsea..."
Jackson looked around the room, trying to spot her. He couldn't.
"Where the fuck is she" Kagen asked.
"I dont...i dont" Mrs Williams whispered.
"WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE" Kagen said, this time yelling.
Kagen was Chelsea's boyfriend, and he wanted to keep it that way.
Jackson wanted to be witty, and say that she went home or something, but he decided it wasn't the best time.
"She went out to the bathroom, i think" Mrs Williams whimpered.
Kagen burst through the door as if it was nothing.
"Kagen! Get back here! Your going to get us killed!" Mary yelled, going after him.
"No! I gotta find her!" Kagen asked.
! ! ! ! !
Chelsea had just gone to the bathroom when the alarm went off. She rushed to her class, but couldn't make it in time.
There was a figure at the end of the hall. It looked human, and that was all she needed to convince her.
She ran the opposite direction of the figure, and back toward the bathroom. She could feel the adrenaline pumping into her veins as she ran at full speed.
She then felt a sharp pain in her head, she looked up to see Kagen, on the ground in front of her.
"Kagen!" She yelled happily.
A few seconds later, he shook the pain off.
He hugged her and said "Chelsea!"
He stood her up, and began to lead her back to their classroom.
"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" He asked her.
"Im fine, i just need to get back to our classroom" She said, not looking at him.
