All That Matters

Kaiytlyn's  POV

I walked down the hall of my house hoping to see my mom in the kitchen waiting for me. As I was just about to turn in to the kitchen I felt this pain I couldn't describe but all I knew was it hurt. I screamed and fell to the ground. I heard running and then saw my dad. Brown hair blue eyes and a big nose.  I wanted to smile and hug him but all I could do was scream in pain for someone or something to make this awful pain stop. But nothing it just kept going and going and it felt like eternity. I saw my dad pick me up and he started walking towards the front door. That's all I remember and then I passed out. I felt something lift me up and I was light like a feather. I then saw white just all white. I was alone and there was music kind of the music that people played at funerals. I tried gasping for air but nothing happened I couldn't and then I stopped. I remembered what my mom told me "calm down and relax" she always said so I did'

I jolted up and looked around I was in a hospital. I heard the familiar beeping noise. The beeping monitor of my heart. I looked at it , it was going slower than usual. I tried not to think about but of course it worried me. I then hear people walking and soon enough there was my dad and a nurse. The nurse saw that I was awake and checked my heart beats and all that retorted stuff. I smiled at my dad to let him know that I was okay but he frowned at me. "Kaiytlyn we have to talk to you about something" my dad said and I nodded and sat up.

My dad sighed and sat down next to me while the nurse left us to be alone. "Ok um so this isn't easy to say" I scoffed "its not like I'm going to die dad just tell me"  he looked at me like I was going to die and so I put my hand on his shoulder maybe that will make him feel better. "Kaiytlyn you have brain cancer" he said.

"WHAT!!!!"
