Marinette Dupain-Cheng and her best friend in the entire world Alya were hanging out in the city's park as usual.
"Hey girl there's Adrien! You should go tell him how you feel about him, because girl once it's to late it's too late." she says
Marinette took a deep breath before nodding with hesitation.
"You're right Alya I'm just scared I mean that's the Adrien Agreste were talking about why would he say he likes a Klutzy insecure fifteen year old girl like me!" says Marinette starting to freak out
Alya gave her friend a slightly sympathetic look before wrapping an arm around her shoulder for comfort.
"Marinette you don't know that for sure unless you try, now what's the harm in that?" asks Alya
Marinette sighed in defeat Alya did have a really point, she wouldn't know if Adrien likes her or not if she doesn't be straight forward with him so she decides to make the boldest move of her life which is a little awkward considering that's way out of Marinette's comfort zone.
"You're right Alya I'm gonna go over there to the most kindest smartest most gorgeous boy I have ever met in my life while he's doing his weekly photoshoot and interrupt it to tell him how I feel! I'll see you back here soon Alya see ya!" says the blue haired girl leaving her best friend with a satisfied grin on her face

Meanwhile with Marinette she was a couple inches away from the boy of her dreams, and the camera man taking Adrien's picture, she was too scared to move so she stood there like a lump on a log.
But Marinette knew she had to be brave and go over there no matter how much it was out of her comfort zone she had to tell Adrien how she truly feels about him.
She takes a few more steps and took a deep breath before saying.
"A-Adrien... I-I'm sorry for ruining you're photoshoot but I need to tell you something do you mind taking away a few minutes?" asks Marinette with her face as red as a tomatoe
The blond haired model nodded his head before standing up from the water fountain edge were he was taking his photoshoot.
"Sure let's go over at the picnic tables no one's over there it'll give us a little more privacy." says Adrien before walking side by side with Marinette
When they reached the picnic tables they both took a seat on opposite sides, Marinette was fooling around with her hands trying to calm her anxiety but she couldn't help it she was alone with Adrien Agreste the boy of her dreams the boy she's been in love with since elementary school when he lent her his umbrella so she didn't get soaked on the way home.
"So Marinette what did you wanna talk about I'm all ears, see what I did there?" he asked before chuckling about his joke
Marinette joined in Adrien's sudden laugh.
After laughing for a few minutes they both had to stop from the lack of air and both of their sides hurt.
"So you were gonna tell me something? Come on tell me I won't judge you I'm not that type of guy just tell me Mari I could never judge you for something you have to say." says Adrien looking into the blue haired girl deep tealish eyes
"Look Adrien.. I've felt this way for a really long time and I was too afraid to tell you but I'm gonna tell you now... And I understand if you don't feel the same for me but you have a right to know... Adrien I really like you I have since that day you lent me you're umbrella ever since then I've admired you.. But I understand you could never like a klutzy basket case like me and that's fine we can still be friends!" says Marinette
Adrien was in utter shock he didn't know what to think about what just happened, Adrien doesn't feel that way for Marinette he's in love with his partner the one and only Ladybug.
"Look Marinette you're a great girl I don't wanna hurt you're feelings but I'm in love with someone else.... I deeply apologize I have to go before my mother and father start wondering where I am I'll see you tomorrow at school Marinette again I'm sorry I'll sure you'll find another guy who will treat you like a princess and put you on a peadelstool." says Adrien before getting up turning the opposite and walking away
Marinette was in shock and in hurt she had never been rejected so bad in her life, she wanted to cry but she couldn't here she didn't want people to see she's weak but everyone excluding Marinette knew she was weak.
Marinette stood up from the picnic table and turned the way Adrien went and ran with tears down her face.

Meanwhile with Adrien, he was walking on the main sidewalk to his house, the scene a little while ago remained stuck in his head and continued to replay in his mind.
He hurt the most fragile girl possible, and he couldn't do anything to make up for it.
He heard a sniffling sound, it sounded like someone was crying near by.
Adrien's Kiwami Plagg a cat like creature that can transform Adrien into the famous Chat Noir came out.
"Hey Adrien got any cambert cheese left?" he asked with joy
Adrien nodded before handing him a slice.
"Now go back into my pocket I don't wanna anyone to see you." says Adrien
Plagg disappeared into Adrien's pocket nibbling on the cambert cheese Adrien had just gave him.
Adrien sighed before walking over to the near by corner where the sniffling was heard he looked around the corner and realised who it was it was Marinette, he quickly went back from around the corner before she spotted him.
Adrien couldn't face Marinette not after what he had done to her he could never forgive himself for what he did, but he did the right thing he was in love with someone else and he couldn't be with someone he doesn't love, he sighed before turning around going back to the path to his house leaving Marinette hoping for the best for her.
