Let's Be Heroes! pt 2

I entered the bodega and decided too look around a bit. I found some interesting things, like some laser swords, fire gautlents, and some other things. But while I was walking, I didn't see where I was going. I accidently ran into someone in front of me, causing me to fall on the floor. "Argh" I muttered. "Watch where you're going mister-oh, it's you. You okay?" I heard the guy say. I look up and see the same alien boy from earlier. He let his hand out for me to grab. I smile shyly and take his hand, letting him help me up. "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for asking" I say to him.  We both look at our hands, realizing we were still  holding them. We let go, blushes on our face. "So, what brings you here?" he said, rubbing his neck. "Oh, well, just thought I would look around here, see what's interesting" I said, rubbing my arm. I look at him and asked "so, what's your name?" "Radicles, but everyone calls me Rad. What's yours?" "Zandy. Zandy Fei". When I said my name, his eyes widen slightly. "Wait a minute, your Dad wouldn't happen to be Thunderbolt, would he?" he said. "Yep, that's my Dad, everybody gets surprised at first" I said to him. 

"Wow, that's amazing and cool" said Rad. I couldn't help but blush at his comment. "So, um, how come I haven't seen you around before?" he asked me. "I'd usually keep to myself. I don't like big crowds of people going all over me because I'm Thunderbolt's daughter" I explained to him. "That bothers you?" "Yeah, so I usually keep my full name on the down low, if you know what I mean". Then, I feel him grab my hand, causing me to blush more. I look up at him and he said "don't worry, I promise I won't tell anyone". I raise my eyebrow at him and said "are you sure you can keep a promise like that?" "Hey, when I promise something, I never break that promise". I look into his eyes, to be sure if he was telling the truth or not. He was telling the truth. I give him a small smile. Before I could say something else, I hear someone slip and fall on the floor. I look around the corner and immediately knew who it was. "KO!" I said, running towards him. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine, Z". Then, Rad comes to us, then says out loud "great, took me four hours to pretend to clean this up, now I have to do it for real". KO looks up at him and says "oh hey, 'Rad'. What a rad name". "Thanks, it's short for Radicles. Back on my home planet, it's a really cool and rare name" Rad said while picking up KO's things.

"Woah, you're an alien!" KO said, excitedly. 'Yeah, that is really cool' I thought. I didn't realize I said it out loud, but Rad must've heard because I see a tint of blush on his cheeks. "Yeah". "I'm KO" my little bro said, shaking his hand. "Hey, can you show me where the lightning nachos are" he asked. "Yeah sure". Rad then leans against me and says "is he your little brother or something". "Well, yes, in a way he is". He then leads me and KO to the nacho stand. While he was getting KO his nachos, Rad starts talking to him. "So, you're choosing the path of the hero, huh? I'm pretty heroic myself. Level 2 if you must know". "Awesome, Zandy here is actually a level 5" KO bragged. I blushed a little and said to him "okay, KO, he doesn't have to know that-" "You're a level 5?" "Umm, yeah" "That's pretty amazing". When Rad said that, I felt like my face was on fire because of all the blushing. 'Stop it, Zandy, you're making a fool of yourself' I said in my head. "Well, thank you for your help Rad, I better check out-" KO was about to say, interrupting my thoughts, until Rad interrupted him. "Oh, so you need photographic evidence of my righteous feats?" "No, no, I believe you-" Once again, interrupted by Rad. "If you insist". He took out his phone and showed us pictures of him fighting some bad guys. I think he probably photoshop them, but I'm not going to say anything. Then, there was one picture which showed a cute adorable kitten. "Aww, whose the kitty?" KO asked. "Aww, she's so cute!" I said, aweing.

"Ah, uh, she's nobody! She's nothing!" Rad said, nervously. He then took off quicker than a flash. "What a cool guy" KO said. "Yeah, very cool" I said, awestruck. I then felt KO poking me again. "Um, Zandy?" "What, uh, nothing. It was nothing! Let's go to the checkout stand, KO" I said, very quickly, trying my best to cover my blush. Completely unknown to me and KO, Rad was watching us from another isle.
