Chapter 4 - Surprises

Taylor's P.O.V
"Pssst Taylor " I hear a voice say
"Psssst!"
"Taylor " the boy says shacking my arm and continuously poking me .
I flutter open my eyes only to have such a shock , two big blue eyes staring into mine and with that I fall backwards off my chair . My eyes wide with panic .
"Fuck sake ." I mutter to myself as my eyes begin to focus "Ethan what the fuck?" I say rubbing my head and yawning .
"You should have seen you're face omg I - can't ...breath." Ethan managed to get out in fits of laughter .
"Ethan ?Taylor? anything you would like to share?" Mr Stevens asks
"Sorry sir Ethan was being a complete idiot and now I'm somehow down here !" I say waving my arm up in the air for everyone to see as the class erupted with laughter.
"You two are both as bad as each other ." Mr Stevens mutters rolling his eyes as he gets back to teaching .
Ethan puts his hand out and I grab it immediately as he helps haul me up .
"I don't remember you being that heavy !" Ethan laughs at me I know he's joking but the words got to me .
"Shut up ." I mumble trying away from him .
"Hey I was only joking ." Ethan says softly giving me a one armed hug
"Yeah i know ." I fake smile back at him I don't think be bought it but I didn't want him upset .I know it's not a big deal really .. Right ?
*DING!*
The bell goes signalling the end of the day . Time for cheer practice . I head into the locker rooms get changed into my cheer uniform the skort was unnecessarily short and the top too cropped but you get used to the uniform after a while I scrape my hair into a high pony tail and join the girls on the field where the boys are slo warming up for football .
"Hey sis!" Chase calls over to me
"Yeah ?"
"The boys don't believe that you used to play football and actually be good !" He chuckles.
"Oh is that so ?" I say running over determined to prove the boys wrong
"There's no way you did or can even run to catch the ball you're just a cheer leader ." Travis one of the boys mutter
"Alright then guys ,  Chase you want to proves these fuckers wrong ?" I say grinning . Even the coaches looked amused .
"Right I want my blockers out here and I want some people trying take me down lets not make this easy just because I'm a girl !" I smirk as the boys got into formation and Chase gets into the QB position and me as a line backer ready to race up the field.
"Right " I smile at Chase he runs ball up the pitch as it tare after him along the other side of the field he throws the ball over to me in a perfect spiral just before he gets tackled . The boys sprint after me and I dodge everyone one of them , as they are close to throwing me to the ground I jump up catch the ball and sprint to the end line .
"Touch down !" I scream waving my arms in the air as Chase runs over hi-fiving me
"That's how the Dean's do it !" He laughs as all the boys are staring at me open mouthed
"You're all going to catch flies in your mouths " I laugh as they snap there mouths shut "I'm going to go back to cheer have fun practicing guys !" I say Turing in my heal walking over to the girls . Even they're shocked . Everyone is , and that's just how I like it I love people not knowing everything about me so that one day I can surprise them.
"That was so cool " Em giggled as I got back to them
"It was nothing, lets just get on with cheer ." I say shrugging it off after some mumbling and praise from the girls we all got into formation and practiced our cheers,tumbling and throws .
After practice Im exhausted I head home with Chase and as usual we drop Ethan back to his . I'm so exhausted that I have a shower put on pjs climb into bed and go right to sleep utterly drained from the day .
