You sit awake on the couch playing on your phone. It had been a few days since you arrived in grasslin (spin off of snowdin I guess if I'm wrong please tell me) you had decided to stay with two skeletons you met. Sans; a cheeky yet adorable optimistic one. And Papyrus; a laid back hoodie wearing guy. They had openly welcomed you into there house. You hear creaking from upstairs you look up towards the noise. It's Papyrus walking down the steps with a dreary look on his face. You pretend to be asleep. You hear him walk into the kitchen and open the fridge and grab food. He murmuring a song that sounds like he's making it up as he goes.
" nanana I love sweets....nehnehneh they're really neat" he sings. You try too hold back giggling but you can't help it. The moment you start snickering he stops abruptly. He walks over to you. " Ummmm.." he said putting his hand behind his skull " how much did you hear?" He asked. You giggle more and recite the song. Pretty soon both of you are eating sweets watching TV. You feel like this is the first friend you've ever had. Then you feel something on your hand. You look down at it. Papyrus was holding your hand. You squeezed his hand in response. You look at each other. It gets awkward for a second. But thank goodness Sans came down the stairs rubbing his eye sockets. " hey paps and <your name> the human" he said dreamily. "H-hi bro" pap said to him. " eh me and the human were just ummm..." he stuffed his hand into his pocket. " watching TV".
" this early?" He said. After that he grabbed a plush from the couch and walked back up. After you were sure he was gone. You reach over to Papyrus' hand again and clasp it. He clasps too. You scoot closer and lay your head down on his lap. And look up at him. He smiles awkwardly. But he doesn't seem mad. You close your eyes and sleep as he strokes your head.
You have a dream that night. Your running thrown those trees where you met Papyrus but the town is darker, your covered in dust. Something is chasing you. You trip and fall and look behind you. It's Papyrus with orange glowing eyes.
You wake up and scream. Papyrus whips up from beside you. " WHATS WRONG?!" He asks concerned. Once you catch you breath as he holds you close. " you-you were evil" you start explaining " and your eyes were...orange". He looks at you with keen eyes. " it was just a dream" you say. He nods and strokes your hair. Then out of nowhere he pulls you close and your lips touch. Almost involuntary you kiss him back. And you are clutching each other close. Then Sans Screamed " WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOIN'?!!!"
