Reading Harry Potter

Prolouge

Everyone in the room was worried. They were half way through a Order meeting and they were no further forward. Not everyone was there. Some were away on missions while some others had been in serious accidents.

Those present were Lily and James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Alice and Frank Longbottom, Marlene McKinnon, Albus and Aberforth Dumbledore, Alastor Moody, Dedalus Diggle, Arabella Figg, Rubeus Hagrid, Minerva McGonagall, Dorcas Meadowes, Fabian and Gideon Prewett, and Emmeline Vance. 

Both the Potters and Longbottoms are very anxious to get home as they both have very small children of only 4 months old.

"Professor, please, how much longer will we be. We really must be getting back to Harry. We can't have Bathilda looking after him all the time! We want to spend time with our son!" said Lily.

"Of course, dear. We just need to here from Moody, and then we are finished for tonight" said Dumbledore, looking as tired as everyone else. Lily nodded.

Just as Moody was about to speak a bright light flashed in the center of the table they were surrounding. As it disappeared, the 17 wands in the room were left pointing at a pile of seven books. On top of them was a neatly written note.

Slowly all the wands were lowered and Sirius picked up the note, quickly scanning it, his eyes widening dramatically as he did so.

"Well don't just keep it to yourself, read it out loud!" demanded Lily, getting more and more agitated to get home to her child, as the nights events were quite alarming.

"It says...

Dear Order of the Phoenix,

We are writing to you from the future and as you can see, magic has developed quite a bit. We have sent you 7 books which we hope you will read.  They are called Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Askaban, The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, and the Deathly Hallows. Once you open them, everything outside of the room will freeze, so you have all the time in the world to read. We will also be sending people back to join you in your reading so don't be alarmed!

P.S. You can't change anything that happens as we do not know what consequences that could have.

"How do we know that there isn't a curse on these books?" asked Frank, looking concerned.

"Why are they named after my son!" shrieked Lily, looking very stressed. James laid a hand on her shoulder and pulled her into a hug but he looked worried too.

"Well, if there had been a curse, then would it not have went off by now?" said Marlene.

"I agree, we should read it!" said Sirius, winking at Marlene, causing her to blush, and scowl at him. Everyone looked at Dumbledore who nodded, smiling at Lily and James who looked torn between wanting to read and not.

"Ok..." sighed Lily, hoping it wouldn't be anything too bad.

"Yes!" cheered Sirius, "Can I read first!" he asked, looking around the room for any objections, then picked up the first book.

"Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone..."

Hey Guys! Since my last version of this was deleted I have to start from scratch, so there will be some differences but I will try to keep most of it as similar as possible. I'm also going to try to add in more of the pairings people asked for and I hope it will actually be a better than the other one.

I'll try and update as quick as possible so I hope you all enjoy this version and if there is any sections from the deleted version you really liked and can remember just comment it below and I'll make sure to include it.
