Chapter 27

Seems like from that day everything went in fast forward. Chris was everywhere from photo shoots, interviews, performances, TV appearances and radio. The fans loved him! I mean there were so many screaming girls everywhere you would've thought he was Michael himself! I loved it for him because he was finally living his dream! He was always on the go now promoting for his album that was coming next month! I was so proud! Everybody I knew couldn’t believe that CB from around the way was now the CHRIS BROWN…HA! I always knew he would make it!

It’s been kind of rough for us lately though with him traveling now and me starting a gig with Omari but we've been making it work as much as possible. We call each other all the time and Chris has had me come with him to performances and appearances. I don’t mind because most people don’t recognize me so I blend in with the rest of his crew.

Mama J was helping Tina with Chris now so it was cool being with her. Of course Tina would go out of her way to hide me. I always had to be left on the bus or in the hotel, no PDA, a part of his crew, just a friend if I’m asked and yada yada yada. I worked in the music industry so I knew the routine!

Besides I didn’t want to be plastered in magazines as “CHRIS BROWN’S GIRLFRIEND” anyway. All the secrecy would make Chris so mad but like I told him it’s what the label wants. I understood fully that he had to seem as though he was available and girl crazy which he is girl crazy but he didn’t like hiding or lying bout his life. With Chris everything was an open book but for me I liked being in the background because I knew no matter how many girls he was around, attracted to or interacted with I had his heart and he had mine.

Just as long as I wasn't disrespected!

Since Chris and I have been back together I have tried to get Raul to leave me alone. I guess he was hurt because I told him I was in a relationship with Chris now and it wouldn’t be good for us to hang out anymore. Well the crazy Raul has come back with phone calls, unannounced visits, following me to my classes, just real CRAZY shit! I’ve been so happy to be able to go and spend time with Chris just so that I wouldn’t have to deal with him. But now that I’m back home rehearsing for O’s shows he has been more annoying and aggressive than usual.

“I just wanted to see you that’s all Helena.” He said huffing in the phone.

“I told you to leave me the hell alone Rau.” I said hanging up.

Why is he acting so fucking nuts? We have been done for 2 years now so LET GO ALREADY! Just then my phone rang and it was him again. I didn’t even answer as I grabbed my bag to leave because I was about to meet up with TJ and my bestie Mijo who was here from LA. I was so happy when I was finally able to introduce them and they clicked instantly! They had called me and told me they were a block away so I knew I had to hurry.

When I finally got the door opened I was instantly being shoved to the living room floor hard and it took me a minute to realize Raul was standing over me. He had crazy eyes and I could smell the alcohol.

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIN HERE?” I screamed scooting across the floor.

“WHY YOOU WANNA PLAY GAMES HELEENA!” He slurred.

“GET THE FUCK OUT RAU!” I yelled pushing dial on my phone in my purse.

“YOU GONNA LEEAVE ME FOR SOME LIL SINGIN BITCH HUH?” He asked  jumping at me.

“GET THE FUCK OFF ME RAUL…HEEELLP!” I screamed hoping my neighbors would hear.

I tried to fight him off and as he began dragging me across the floor by my hair.
