Lyles POV.

I felt myself gain consciousness as I hugged the pillows tighter. "Come on... Wake up" I heard being called quietly in the distance as I opened my eyes, them shutting again almost instantly as my eyes burned from the light. I tried to pull the white blankets over my head as I realised I couldn't, something was stopping them. I groaned as I sat up slightly, using all my strength to move the blankets but it wouldn't work. I realised that someone had to be sitting or lying on my bed, nothing else in my room could cause this weight that stopped the blankets from moving.

I peaked around the blankets as I noticed Odette sitting at the bottom of my bed as she looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "What time is it?" I groaned with a croaky voice as she picked up her IPhone, pressing the home button to see the time which was displayed across her screen. "It is twelve" she answered as I sat up properly, stretching as all of my bones cracked as Odette looked unamused. She hated me doing that. "So what did you do last night?" she asked with a smile as I thought of a lie I could tell that wasn't a complete lie.

"I watched Harry Potter. I never really did anything to be honest" I explained as she narrowed her eyes and I realised something was wrong. "Who is the guy that was in here?" she snapped as I felt a lump in my throat. Was I going to continue to lie or just admit that Leon was here? Or should I say Pennywise? No Lyle, never ever say that. Odette would have an aneurism. "What guy?" I tried to bluff her, she had no proof, she might just be trying to see if I would spill something by saying that if she suspected that I might have I guy here. She might only be hoping she would gain a reaction from me...

"Down stairs said there was a guy and obviously it wasn't me who brought one home" she joked at the end of her statement, adding a lighter tone as I laughed. Not only was she not home but Odette is interested in women. Well, she is bi but since we were young I said she would marry a woman and if she come home with a guy I'd tell him to "Get out, and stop ruining my vision" so her being with a guy is a long shot since I'd always scare them away. I could never bluff my way out of this. Also, the neighbour who talks to Odette is Sam and he lives the floor below us. No one else lives on this floor. Also, he either saw Leon leave or saw Leon and I arriving here. There was no way I could keep lying to her and get away with this, not without her losing trust in someone, either Sam or I.

"I had a friend here. We talked about random things and then watched Harry Potter before I- before I-" I stopped myself as I suddenly realised something. I fell asleep on the sofa. Leon must have carried me to my bed last night. "Before I went to my bed after saying goodbye to him. I was so tired I didn't even get changed out of my comfy clothes" I pulled the blanket down a little to reveal my jogging bottoms. Odette laughed before becoming serious again as I felt my heart race. What was going to happen?

"I'm just glad you have clothes on" she joked as I rolled my eyes "He is just a friend" I smiled before Odette smirked. "Special friend?" she raised her eyebrow as I sighed to show I was unamused before she suddenly burst "Is it the guy from the parade?!". A smile was spread across her face. Damn, I had hoped she had forgotten about that. "Get the fuck out my room" I pointed at the door as I smiled, unable to have the effort to stay nice as she questioned me.

Odette reluctantly left my room as I fell back so my head was on the pillows as I looked at the ceiling and smiled. Just the thought of Leon was enough to make me smile. I moved my head to look at my bedside table where my phone was as I noticed another boat. I picked it up as I looked at it and realised that the boat was made from the piece of paper I had written the questions on and had left at his home. He had kept it all this time. Yet again I found myself smiling as I placed my hand over my face in an attempt to cover it, not that anyone would see it.

After properly waking up and managing to stop myself from giggling I decided to get ready to go out. I walked out of the bathroom after having a shower before drying and straightening my hair. I pulled on black ripped skinny jeans which were more rips than actual denim, a tight white long sleeved crop top, and white vans, obviously I had underwear on as well. I looked in the mirror as I put on waterproof mascara, my eyes occasionally not focusing on myself putting on the mascara as they focused on the little boat on my bedside table which I would soon need to hide with the others. But I couldn't bring myself to do it. Not now. I loved it too much.
