Jimin: Summer Rain

You have been staring at the clock the whole time waiting for the bell to ring at 4 o'clock. And finally with it's last strike *rings* you jumped up from your seat and bid goodbye to your classmates. Summer vacation has officialy started.

You are excited to visit your grandparents for the summer, they live in the country side.

Taehyung: "Y/N hurry up, the car is waiting." your brother shouted.

Y/N: alright I'm coming! you retorted back. and with one final glance at your room checking if you missed anything to bring, you took off.

GrandMa: "You look beautiful as always sweetheart" as she enveloped you in a hug.

Y/N: haha I missed you too!

You just love spending summer at their place, it always had that warm feeling and home cooked meals are always the best. There was a creek nearby as well that you hang out with your brother. This time, Taehyung could not come because he was off to college. So it will just be you and your grand parents. Which you did not mind, finally you can just enjoy your summer in peace.

"Y/N, Dinner!" your grand father called out.

Y/N: "I'll be right down". you hurriedly unpacked your things and came down to the kitchen.

You stopped suddenly seeing a new face in the room.

"Uhm, hi?" you said

"Hi, you must be Y/N? I'm Jimin.

Y/N: I have heard that name before, it sounds familiar.

He laughed. " You do not remember me then, well that's understandable since the last time I saw you, you could barely catch up to me and Tae and we would always make you cry."

You felt anger boil inside you as realization hit you. This is Jimin, your brother's bestfriend when you were still kids. You hardly recognized him now since it was a long time you saw him last. But you remember how you were always annoyed whenever you visited, Taehyung would always ditch you and hang out with Jimin instead.

"I'll be staying here for a while helping out with your grandparents" he said as you both sat down at the dinner table.

"Great." you muttered under your breath and ate dinner in silence.

That night while in your room, you decided to just enjoy this summer by making sure to stay away from Jimin. You stepped out from the tiny balcony outside your room and breathed in the night summer air. You saw Jimin coming back to the house from the creek, he was smiling to himself. And you found yourself staring at him while thinking how cute he got and toned his muscles are. He was always lifting firewood when you were still young, you thought. He suddenly looked up from where you are standing and waved. Startled that he caught you looking, you turned around and walked inside the room.

Two weeks had passed and you managed to stay away from Jimin and just enjoyed the company with your grandparents. One night, you had difficulty sleeping because you slept the entire afternoon. You decided to go out the front porch and sit on the stairs.

Jimin: Can't sleep?

You turned around startled by the sudden voice.  Jimin laughed " Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He sat next you. " Y/N, are you avoiding me? "
