I was standing in front of a big building with a lot of showcases. The mall.. It felt as if time stood still, but everyone around me was moving. It was 10:54. I had 6 minutes left, but wasn't ready yet. I felt a bit suffocated by the mass of people, yet there was a big distance between me and them. My palms started to get sweaty and a lump formed in my throat. I tried to swallow it away. I closed my eyes and breathed in. I breathed out and opened them again. I started to walk.
I stepped into the main hall, a pleasant cold breeze welcoming me. I looked around to find Danny, but I couldn't find him. I decided to walk towards the fountain in the middle of the mall. I fixated my eyes on the running water, not wanting to stand out in the crowd.
"Aaah-"
My scream turned into a unhearable muffle as a hand was pressed over my mouth. Another arm was around my waist, lifting me from the ground and carrying me to a more quiet place in the mall.
I was scared. Really, really scared. I was being dragged away by some random dude. Why didn't someone help me? Just anyone, please.
I'm being freaking abducted in the mall and no one gives a shit. This is so wrong. What's wrong with humanity? I'm so pissed.
My thoughts were suddenly cut off as I was put down on the ground and gasped for air. A hand got a hold of my wrist and turned me around.
My eyes widened in surprise and a bit of anger as well. "DANNY!" I slapped his arm. "You scared the shit out of me!" I spoke through gritted teeth.
Danny chuckled. "Sorry.. You should've seen yourself though!"
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
"Hey, calm down, Jordan. Are you okay now?"
"Yeah, I'm okay."
"Good." He pulled me into a hug. He shifted his weight from his one leg to his other, giving the impression that he was walking, but then without moving, but with me. I was burying my face in his chest when he pulled away, grabbed my hand and took me outside. I smiled.
"Where are we going? I thought you wanted to do something at the mall?" I narrowed my eyes in confusion.
"Nope, I just wanted you to think that." He smiled at me. "I'm taking you somewhere else!" He brought me to his car and opened the door for me before walking over to the other side of the car to get in himself. He grabbed my hand again.
"So where ARE you taking me?"
"It's a surprise. Be patient, beautiful." He squeezed my hand softly and smiled at me, then he looked back at the road.
I spent the next five minutes staring out the window, thinking about what the surprise might be. I realized it was pointless to think about the surprise.
I leaned on my hand, my elbow placed on the window. I looked over to Danny and smiled at him. Danny was truly beautiful. He wasn't arrogant, like all the other boys. He was a bit shy, and so kind. He's perfect.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked with a smile, glancing over at me.
"Nothing." I shrugged with a smile.
"Good. Are you ready?"
"Yeah."
"Good, because we're here."
I looked out of the car window to find a forest. It was a beautiful forest. It really was. It looked like one of these fairy tale forests.
The door opened and snapped me out of my thoughts. Danny was next to me and held his hand out. I grabbed it with a smile. I climbed out of the car, our hands released. I stretched my legs and he walked over to the trunk. He pulled out a basket and walked back to me. I looked at the basket, not realizing what it was.
Danny kissed my forehead. "We're going on a picnic."
My eyes widened, so did my smile.
A picnic. How romantic!
Danny reached for my hand, I grabbed his and our fingers intertwined. We then walked into the forest. I loved it. I loved the birds singing. I loved how Danny was there with me. I felt so complete right there. I didn't want to ever leave that moment.
But the moment ended. We reached a beautiful lake in the middle of the forest. It was so beautiful and perfect, I started crying. Danny faced me. He put my face in his hands, he was wiping my tears away with his thumbs. There was a worried look on his face. "Are you okay?" I nodded and put my hands around his wrists. "It's.. so perfect, Danny!" He smiled and inched closer. He kissed my lips tenderly. Our lips pulled back in sync, only to touch again a few seconds afterwards. Our lips kept moving in sync as the kiss deepened.
It was magical.
We both pulled away. We were breathing heavily as our foreheads rested on each other.
"Can I call you mine now?" Danny whispered.
"Yes."
Danny kissed me again. Then he pecked me on the cheek and pulled me into a sweet hug. He planted a kiss on top of my head.

I finally updated. It took me long because I didn't really feel motivated to write. I just feel like two or three people actually read the whole story, but it might be a few more.
Anyways, I did feel motivated today and I also felt a bit of guilt for not having updated. I won't be able to update this story next week and I couldn't stand the thought of just letting some of you and myself down. So here's an update, I hope you like it. Please leave a comment saying you read this if you have read this far, it would mean the world to me!
