I went through the gate in the brick wall next to the dance school. I entered the backyard. It was really beautiful. Flowers were everywhere, benches, lamps and a stage, so we could also perform outside. When you put on the lights at night, there were lights everywhere. Under you, over you, next to you. It was just beautiful. I walked on till the end of the backyard. I opened that gate too and entered the next. It went on like this for a while. Not all of them were as beautiful as the one of the dance school. Most of them were just an empty place, surrounded by brick walls.

I walked on and on, the backyards got smaller and dirtier. And then I heard a quiet conversation. It didn’t seem a nice and happy one. Slowly, not trying to make a sound, I went a few steps forward.

There was a small and dirty alley, but  dead lock. A huge mad was standing there with his back towards me. He held something in his hand. When he lifted it up, I could see it shining. A knife. A really sharp one. The man let his arm rush down fast and then I heard someone scream.

Another man was lying on the floor. He couldn’t run away. Blood was running out of his chest and made his white shirt red. His face was covered with shadows, so I couldn’t see it.

Again the huge man ran the knife into the other man’s body. Now he started to bleed around his stomach. He groaned with pain and lifted up his face.

His light brown hair was messy and stuck sweaty on his forehead. Tears were running out of his closed eyes. You could see how much it hurt.

“Now you shut up, Liam Payne! Now you won’t steal my girlfriend from me anymore! Should I cut through your throat, or only your tongue, so you can’t sing anymore? Hm?” yelled the huge man.

I knew, that I’ve seen that face before. The boy, who I’ve wanted to meet so often. But I didn’t want it that way!

The huge man lifted up his knife again.

“NO” I yelled. Liam and his band were the only thing, which I could hold on to. The only thing, that reminded me of the past years. Of my home.

The man didn’t run the knife down this time. Slowly he turned round. He let go of Liam, who looked at me shocked.

The man slowly came towards me. I formed a ‘Run away!’ with my lips, to tell Liam to get away. He looked at me worried, but then nodded and climbed over the wall behind him. It was incredible, that he was still able to do that, even though he was hurt so much.

The man turned round again. Then he turned again and laughed.

“So, you girl think, you can make me not kill Liam Payne? Now he’s gone. You’ve let me lose this opportunity. If you didn’t come, he’d be dead in a few minutes and no one would’ve noticed it was me.” He laughed.

Then his smile went completely out of his face. “You’re dead” he said quietly and then ran towards me.

I didn’t have a choice. I ran away. Along the way I would’ve taken, because soon I’d be getting to a street with many people and a bus stop.

I ran and ran. I didn’t turn round once. I couldn’t anymore. I breathed really heavily and my lungs stared to hurt. But I had to run on.

I saw the street at a few feet before me. I ran faster and faster. Finally the alleyways and backyards were behind me, but I still kept on running.

A bus was about to drive away at the bus stop 100 feet away. 75. 50. 25. 10. 15. I made it on the last second to hop on it. Then it drove away. I turned round for the first time. The crazy murderer didn’t get me. I was still alive!

But the most important thing: I saved Liam Payne’s life. And with that I saved the life of One Direction and many other still crazy fangirls. I was a hero.

I’d so go to heaven, for saving his life and getting me in danger.
