I went through Alexis pictures again for the 3rd time tonight. I couldn't believe how beautiful she was. I clicked off Instagram and FaceTimed her. She answered on the second ring.

Just calling to say Goodnight beautiful.! I said smiling.

Why you going to sleep so early.?

I'm not.! Just wanted to tell you that just in case you where.

I'm not.! I can't believe I'm talking to you.

Maybe I like what I see and I'm just tryna pursue it before anybody else gets a chance to if they haven't already.

Me and Alexis stayed up for hours on FaceTime she fell asleep on me around 4am. We both had to get ready for school in a couple hours. I threw my phone on the charger and layed back. She was cool as fuck and I liked talking to her. Her smile was so beautiful and she had a beautiful personality. She was a little shy but by the end of our convo she definitely opened up a lot more that I would have thought.

I woke up running a little late. I sped through everything I had to do. I grabbed my phone and keys and left it for school. I damn sure didn't feel like hearing my mother mouth about being late for school on the second day.

"GoodMorning Alexis 😘" I closed out my messages and got out the car.

I walked into the school and into my home room and took the same seat from yesterday. I wanted this day to be over already.

Okay class pick a partner.! Ms. Baxter said as she walked in the class. I ain't look no where but my phone partner my ass.

Avery.? She called out to me. I looked up and she was walking towards me. "This is is Ericka she's gonna be your partner since you don't have one.! You both are new to the school and can get to know each other.!" She said with a smile and took the seat next to me.

Everybody hope you are happy with your partners because you guys will be pairs for the rest of the school year. Now get out a notebook and a pen and interview each other. Your first assignment is to construct an essay on the person you interviewed like a self reflection paper. Ms. Baxter said.

It's cool. I guess we better get started on this essay.! She said nervously laughing.
