Levana
I place my fingers on the keys and begin to play the magnificent grand piano I had found years ago as a little girl.
I think back to that day.
"Go to your room, now. Levana!" my father had yelled at me.
I had been playing in the castle again and accidentally broke my mother's favourite shell. It had been in the family for years apparently and was passed down from mother to daughter.
"But father it was an accident, I didn't mean to break it." I tried again.
"Just go you stupid child!" my father yelled at me.
I immediately spun around and swam away, the tears streaming down my face.
Instead of going to my room, I swam out the castle and just kept going till my tail was to tired to continue.
When I looked up I gasped, lying there before me was a old sunken ship.
I decided to explore the magnificent vessel top to bottom.
I then came upon a marvellous room that looked like a ballroom and right in the centre on a little platform stood a black grand piano.
Even though some of its paint has come of and the key aren't so wight any more, I still love this piano more than any thing in the world. It's my special secret treasure. It's my escape from the world. whenever I have a problem this is where I come to clear my mind.
I continue playing but I'm interrupted by a message from my father.
Levana come home it's getting late.
I let out a un-lady-like grunt and shut the piano.
"Vita, come we have to go home."
Vita is my great white shark.
I've always been interested in sharks to my mother's displeasure.
To people they are vicious carnivorous creatures, they are actually quite curious creatures.
I found Vita trapped in a fishing net that had been dumped into the ocean by those horrid creatures who walk the land.
It took some time getting her to trust me enough to let me close to her to cut her out of the net. And when I Finally got her out I realised the net had cut into her skin and she was bleeding a lot.
So I took her back to the castle and patched her up and after she fully healed I released her into the ocean again.
I was very sad to leave her and I had grown attached to her.
The next morning I was woken by a shrill scream and when I shot out of bed and found Vita floating right in front of my second youngest sister, who was frozen in fear.
Yet all I could do was smile.
I still remembered when my mother came swimming into my room and screeched,
"What is that horrid creature doing in my house!"
"I found her in a net so I brought her home and patched her but I let her go yesterday she must have came back in through the Window. "
"well get it out!" my mother screeched again .
"it useless as she'll just end up coming back." I said but she already bolted out of the room with my sister in tow.
