8: The Day Off

Jimin stepped out of his room.

It was around 10 am. Jimin had a good sleep, hearing no alarms trying to wake him up.

" Oh, good morning Jungkook" He said, as he was rubbing his eyes.

Jimin got out of the bathroom after he washed his face. the moment he stepped out, he could smell the delicious scent of baked pancakes from the kitchen.

He went directly to the kitchen seeing Jungkook making some pancakes

" oh hyung, you can just sit and wait, it's done soon!"

Jimin took the syrup, some blueberries, and butter out of the refrigerator, preparing the table.

"Jungkook is it a special day or something? you don't usually make something such as this? not that I complain, I'm just quite impressed" Jimin said, a wide smile formed on his lips, his small chuckling escaping.

"Well, I just thought that I wanted to make you something since you let me live with you, also I was having a pretty good morning. I also wanted your morning to be good" Jungkook smiled, showing his bunny teeths

"Well anyways, Thank you Jungkook" Jimin said ruffling the youngers hair.

they sat down, and ate their pancakes, doing their daily smalltalks at the morning table.

When they were done, Jimin took their plates and empty coffee mugs, deciding to wash them, since the younger was the one making breakfast.

"Hyung! There was something I wanted to tell you! I actually heard some rumors about the party we went to last time!"

"huh? what kind of rumor?" Jimin answered, furrowing his brows.

"well, there was someone talking about some people getting drugged at the party? do you think... yeah you know.. they maybe talked about you?.. it could also, of course, be someone else...

However, I heard after we left the place separately, that some policemen came to stop a fight happening at the club, and while they were stopping the fight, someone reported to find drugs in some of the cups at the club!"

Jimin sighed " ugh, how I just don't want to think about all this... I feel so uncomfortable around my chef, knowing he may have done something to me... but at the same time... " Silence " You know what? whatever, let's not think about it for now. What happened to the fact that you wanted this day to be good?" Jimin said, trying to smile, so he won't worry Jungkook too much.

"You're right! when you feel like talking about it, you know where I am" Jungkook said and smiled, bro- hugging Jimin.

"So should we go outside and get some stuff?" Jimin asked

"Wait hyung! let me scan the refrigerator first! seeing what we need to buy"

"sure, go on, I will wait at the car" Jimin answered

As they entered the market, with all kind of greens and other kinds of products, Jungkook ran over to the baskets getting one for them. Jungkook was driving around, looking like a little kid who was a too hyped over being allowed to drive the basket.

They were looking at all kind of vegetables. Eggplants, mushrooms, radish. They choose to buy some radish, cucumber, carrots, mushrooms, and eggplants.

They were now heading to the meat section.

" Hyung! let's have something with meat today!" Jungkook said, " you are sooo good at marinating the meat!"

Jungkook was about to say something, but he stopped himself. He also stopped driving the basket, looking at someone

"Jungkook what are you doi-"

"TAEHYUNG!" Jungkook shouted at someone, waving with both hands to get the person's attention

"jungko-" without Jimin having the chance to say anything, Jungkook left him, and the basket, running over to someone. more specific, two people.

Jimin's sight wasn't the best, but he was sure of not knowing who those people were. Taehyung? what even?

Jimin took the basket with him, going to where Jungkook was, talking to some stranger.

However, the closer Jimin got to them, the unknown person was starting to look familiar.

Jungkook shook hands with him, introducing himself. It was also Jungkooks first meet with Taehyung's friend.

"Jimin! hurry up! I want to introduce you to someone!" Jungkook shouted again, obviously being too excited around this guy called Taehyung.

"Jimin? JIMINIE?" the familiar face shouted while a smile was plastered on his face

Jimin quickened his speed forward them.

His guess was right.

It was his chef, Min Yoongi.

Jimin looked at Yoongi. However, Yoongi he was already staring at Jimin, almost lost in him.

no one was stopping the eye contact. They were having an intense stare.

"Do you know Jimin?" Jungkook asked the silver-haired boy. It was the first time they meet each other. However, they both know quite a lot about each other. Taehyung wouldn't stop talking about Yoongi to Jungkook, and wouldn't stop talking about Jungkook to Yoongi.  Jungkook wasn't afraid of Yoongi liking Taehyung. Taehyung's and Yoongi's relationship was just as Jimin's and Jungkook's.

" heh.. Yeah, we somehow know each other" Yoongi said, sending a wink to Jimin. He wanted to tease Jimin a bit.

Jimin got bothered by it, he slowly started to blush. His gaze on the floor.

"ehh, I'm Jimin, Jungkook's roomie and childhood friend, nice to meet you," Jimin said, reaching his hand out for Taehyung

"Nice to meet too! I have heard a lot about you!!" Taehyung said excited, taking Jimin's hand, showing his box smile.

" Jimin Hyung! Please let's hang out with them! We could get a coffee or something!" Jungkook said

At this moment Jimin was debating with himself. Jungkook just got to meet his chef, also the one who might have done him something. Gladly Jungkook doesn't know the name of this person. However, Yoongi is friends with Taehyung, the one Jungkook is crushing over. Should he lie to Jungkook about who this person is, to make Jungkook be with his crush a little longer? Or should he tell him the truth, saying this person was his chef, which could lead Jungkook in heartbreaking.

Jungkook was very loyal of a friend.He wouldn't hang out with someone his hyung didn't like or someone who knew the person. Jungkook would be afraid of them being just as the person his hyung dislikes.

" I don't know Jungkook I'm a little tired.."

Aww but hyung! Come on! just this one! And I will never ask about anything else!" Jungkook said pouting his lips

"But Jungko-"

"Well you shouldn't hurt your friend and make him sad, Jimin" Yoongi butted in, smirking while looking directly into Jimin's eyes.

silence took over for a while. Until they heard Jimin sighing.

"ugh fine then," Jimin said pissed, looking at Yoongi with a death stare, who could kill anyone.

"yay! Thank you so much hyung! Let's buy these things and put them in the car! then we can head up to the café" Jungkook said

" yeah yeah, whatever" Jimin answered.

As he answered, he could hear small chuckles behind him. He was sure, more likely he knew, the owner of the chuckles was Min Yoongi.

And indeed it was.
