It has been several days since Kaine's army had lead that surprise attack. Today was the day that the fallen would finally be put to rest. Alan stared as each casket was lowered into the ground. His eyes landed on Rin's and rage swelled deep within his eyes as he clenched his fists to the point that his knuckles turned white. He was not only mad at Kaine, but also at himself for not paying attention. It was eating him up inside that he not only failed as a commander, but as a friend.

Alan watched as everyone left, never taking his eyes off of Rin's grave. He slowly walked over to it and stared at her gravestone for hours. He finally peeled his eyes off her gravestone and looked up at the grey sky. He blinked as a rain drop fall on his face and realized that he's completely soaked from the rain. He turned and left for his office, glad to finally be home. He never noticed a pair of eyes watching him from the shadows.

Alan woke the next day feeling sore and tired. Those long months on the front line had really tired him out. He stretched out, popping several of his sore joints and his back. He quickly showered and put on his T-71b Power Armor before going over reports. Kaine has been branching out as well it seemed, trying to match the front line before he was boxed in. What he didn't know was that he had stretched his army too thin with that failed surprise attack. This was the chance that Alan has been waiting for, a chance to finally strike a crippling blow to Kaine's army.

Alan waited a week to give his troops the much needed rest their deserve. He now stood at the window in his office, looking out at the football game that had broken out between his troops and the men of the 5th Armored Core. He looked over his shoulder at the sound of his door opening only to come eye to forehead of his newest teammate. He looked down slightly and took in the appearance of the new member. She was rather short for someone to join the Armored Infantry Core, coming up to his shoulder. She had brown hair that was tied in a pony tail and hazel eyes.

He blinked at the sound of a cough and realized it came from her. He fully turned around to face her and said, "Aren't you a little short to be Armored Infantry?" He watched as anger flared up in her eyes as she said, "I'll have you know that I'm a medic." Alan nodded and said, "What's your name, Doc?" She snapped to attention and replied,"Sergeant Sarah at your command." Alan just stared at her amused before saying, "At ease Sarah and cut the formalities, we're soldiers not suck ups." Sarah nodded and left him to his thoughts.

Alan looked at the afternoon sky and said, "You can come out Sora." Sora slowly crawled out from under Alan's bed and sat before him. Alan sighed and said, "Sora, report." Sora nodded before saying, "I've hacked the Enclave's network and found out where their base is." Alan nodded before saying, "I'm sensing a "but" in that sentence." It was Sora's turn to sigh before saying, "I've also found out that there is a group of Enclave soldiers that have infiltrated our army, but there is no information as to who and how many have infiltrated us." Alan sighed and said, "I want all channels and networks monitored at all times." Sora nodded and left to spread the order along the other commanders.

Alan sighed and sat at his desk. He leaned back and stared at the ceiling, lost in thought. There has been no suspicious activate among the troops; so who could the traitors be? Alan sighed and looked down at his desk. He spotted a folder and opened it. Inside he found the new orders to his army. His orders were to break through Kaine's defensive line and take Georgia. As he read on, he slowly gained a blood thirsty grin. Intel says that Kaine is using Atlanta as his main base.
