Snap.
"Seriously? That's the third one tonight."
I looked down at my broken hair tie in my hands, again.
Fumbling around in my bathroom cabinet for another hair tie, I unlocked my phone.10:38 pm.
"Sweet Jesus, never mind."
I stopped looking for another hair tie and charged out of the bathroom. I skidded into my room, grabbed my black leather purse, and bolted from my apartment.
You know, people think you are crazy for wearing sunglasses at night. Some think you're a blind person walking without your cane, and others just think you're weird. I have a reason to wear mine though.
The clubs lighting is crazy bright, and some of it is those fast florescent flashing lights. The ones that can literally make you go blind, yeah, those ones.
Click. Click. Click.
My heels quickly tapped the sidewalk below me.God I'm going to get my ass beat.
No, my parents aren't magically here to discipline me with a belt, it's my boss. He's going to make me dance longer than I want too, damn it.
Oh, well.
Two long lines of people dressed to impress were packed in front of the Dirty Dancin' club.
The line on the left was the V.I.P, but usually, there's too many V.I.P allowed to enter, like now.
The line on the right, are the norms. You know, groups of guys or lesbians that are trying to flirt or convince the bouncer their way in. Dirty Dancin' is a popular place late at night, it's when fights or crazy events throw down. It gets tiring after a while though.
I cleared my throat and skipped myself towards the V.I.P line.
"Hey doll, you're cutting the line!" Someone slurred.
"As if!" I sneered back.
After digging in my purse, I pulled out my silver I.D, stating I work here and cut in front of the V.I.P line. A blonde haired woman scoffed, acting as if I couldn't hear her, she mumbled to her friends saying that I was a "bitch" and a "slut" for cutting in line.
I glanced at her over my shoulder, my tongue grazing over my black pasted lips as I raised up my card to the bouncer..more like raising it up to Erwin. The V.I.P Bouncer.
He gave a small grin to me and un-clipped the red velvet rope separating me from my entrance - er - job!"You're late again, (y/n)." He chuckled.
I stepped passed him and pat his shoulder.
"I know, don't remind me."
I looked to him, my sunglasses slipping to the tip of my nose as I looked at his greased back blonde hair shining against Dirty Dancin's purple neon strobe lights. He was about to let the name-calling blonde in, but I coughed.
"Not her."
Erwin raised an eyebrow at me, but he clasped the rope back shut anyway. I smirked, and pushed up my glasses.
The blonde woman glared at me, flipped her hair, and strutted off. Her possy of two black haired girls following behind her, their ass nearly popping out from their tight black dresses as they walked off.
"See you Erwin, inside? Later?"
He shook his head and resumed looking towards the line.
"Not tonight Little One, it's busier than usual."
"Oh, alright!"
He nodded.
I waved at him (even if he couldn't see me) and went inside the revolving doors.
