Jacob's P.O.V.
I'm nervos. It's the middle of the school year, and I'm changing schools. I am I my homeroom right now. There's this girl sitting next to me, I see she has a plethora of cuts along her arms, making it looking like a sleeve.
I'm about to say hi, but the teacher says, "Good morning class! As you all have seen, we have a new student." He turns to me, "Would you introduce yourself for us please?"
"Sure, I guess." I stand up, "I'm Jacob Sampson. I play piano and clarinet." I sit back down and the teacher says, "Let's all be kind and welcome Jacob to our school
The homeroom is only 15 minuets so it passes by really fast. Al my classes go by fast for some reason, I expected them to go by slowly.
During lunch, I see that girl again. I decide to go sit with her since she looks really lonley. And I want to get to know her more, she seems really nice.
As I walk over to the table, someone stops me in my tracks.
"Hey. You don't want to hang around HER! She's just a depressing, weird piece of shit." it's another girl with long blonde hair, frekles and WAY too much makeup on.
"And you are......"
"Beth Ann."
"Well you look more like a clown!" I say, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to talk to her, cause unlike you, I'm nice to others and don't call them depressing pieces of shit."
I sit down, and she looks upset that I'm there.
"Hi! How are you?" no response. She jut looks down at her food.
"H-Hello......" she finaly responds.
"What's your name, I'm Jacob, I'm in your homeroom."
"A-Alexis........"
"That's a really pretty name."
"I h-heard you play p-piano." for some reason, she can't stop stuttering.
"Yeah. I do, and clarinet."
"I-I play piano t-too......"
"That's really cool. Maybe we can.... Hang out sometime?"
"S-Sure I g-guess."
"Sounds fun! When are you free?"
"Any time r-really."
"are you free today?"
"Y-Yea."
"I'll ask my dad if it's ok, and you ask your parents. We can hang out at my house. My whole family is made of musicians, so we have a couple pianos."
"Ok. Sounds fun!" she says without stuttering.
We've finished eating, so we take care of our trays, and head back to class.
