Edward's POV
× × ×It's already our fifth day here in Baguio and we have really enjoyed every single minute together. We've seen a lot of destinations here too and experienced a lot of new things from food to culture. It has been an awesome quality time!
Coach has been very supportive for us both on whatever activities we'd like to try and he doesn't seem to be a problem in this part-time third wheeling job with us naman. Cool.
We did a lot of things the past few days - horseback riding, visiting landmarks, museums, food trips and even both the mini golf and real golf experience for Maymay. It was one of her first times again so I had so much fun teaching her all these rules and proper posture stuff. She was so into it but she couldn't hit anything at first so we just had to have a great laugh about it. Good thing I still remember how to play golf, kung hindi, I'd be laughed at too. She's great parin naman. Not bad at all!
"Are you okay?" We're currently having a walk around the mall. This time, it's just us two again. Another day for a date!
Coach had to meet an old friend daw who lives somewhere here. He invited us naman but I refused to. I know that they'll need to catch up and I suppose having us there wouldn't be a good idea. Labas nalang kami together.
"Oo naman! Enjoy nga eh." She answered and it's good to hear that. "Sakit sa tiyan nun!"
"Ha? Masakit tiyan mo?" I asked.
"Luhh to! Hindi, expression lang yun. Tumawa kasi tayo ng tumawa." She said. Oh I see. Well, yes, we just finished watching a comedy movie and we had a blast. It's good to hear her all-out laughter inside the movie house. I was asking for us to watch a horror movie sana but she doesn't want to. Sayang. Anyway, I enjoyed naman especially seeing her happy like that, except the fact that it's purely Tagalog. I just laughed whenever she did even though I didn't understood much. Naintindihan ko naman, at least some conversations. Yeah.
"Alright. What's next, then?" We don't even know where to go now and we still have three hours to go before we could meet coach halfway and go back to the hotel.
"Lakad lakad nalang." She answered. "Bahala na."
"Sure. Wait, I'll just let him know." I called Coach through the phone and told him our plans for the rest of the day and he just told us lang to be extra vigilant.
We went strolling down Session Road and we stopped by an ice cream parlor. She asked me to buy for us instead and that she'll wait for me outside and so I did. I'm already up next towards the cashier when I saw these freaking familiar faces that's heading towards her. Damn it! Wait a minute. Why are they here?!
"Yun oh! Sabi na eh!" Ford shouted and hugged her tight. Ugh. Seriously? One.
"Oy oy oy na-miss kita!" Russell said too and hugged her as well. Pssh. Two. Come on!?
"Syempre, ako rin!" Tristan came running towards her. Three. For real?! Then someone was coming near her too, of course I know who this guy is. Don't tell me it's down to four?!
"Sir, hello, okay ka lang po?" The cashier asked. "Sabi ko po, anong order niyo?"
"Oh sorry, sorry." I got back to my senses but my eyes we're still trying to look outside. "Uhm, ano, the best seller. Two." I said without even knowing what their best seller is. "No, no. Please cancel it. I'm really sorry." I said right away when I saw that João is talking with her already so I hurriedly went out.
"Hey guys." I shouted, calling their attention. "What brought you here?" I went straight ahead to Maymay and placed my arm on her shoulder while we had our welcoming signals, fist bumbs, whatever you call it.
