On my right shoulder I have a tattoo that I got a few months ago after my sons were born. my oldest son was born highly undeveloped. his lungs were too small to breath on his own and so they put him on a ventilator hoping that would help but he still couldn't breath and so one night I was sitting with him and his brother, who was slightly more developed, when he stopped breathing. I decided then and there that i didn't want him to suffer anymore so i asked the nurse to take him off the ventilator so i could him as he died. after just a minute he stopped breathing and died in my arms. after the doctors released me and my son i went out and got this tattoo done in memory of my son who passed way before his first birthday.
