Joel's POV
Lauren came up the hall after me chanting my name. "What's up Lauren?" Id asked trying not to bring up Bobby. "What did Bobby say to you? The exact words!" She huffed and puffed until the words come out. "Look Lauren, you have to ask Bobby! I don't wanna be a messenger." Lauren sighed. "Your right." She said. "I swear if you put Lizzie in my position I swear to god!" I know Bobby was a good guy but it's the situation he's got himself into. "Wha-i wouldn't! And you know Bobby didn't want this to happen, this school is just messed up!" I say as my fave burns a bright red. "I've gotta go talk to Bobby." She says and walks away. I'm actually scared to ask Lizzie out now without the school doing something about it. But today's the day. Right? There's no point in second guessing yourself Joel! But what if she says no? I try to get my mind off Lizzie and move along in the corridor to try and find someone to hang out with. "Joel!" I hear a quirky voice behind me. I turn around and face Lizzie. "I've been looking for you everywhere!" She puffed out. I start to panic seeing as I'm trying not to think about her. "Ahhhhh." I awkwardly say. "You okay mate?" She asked cheacking my head for a fever. "I'm fine, not sick." I push Lizzies hand off my forehead. "Why were you looking for me?" I ask. "Lauren said she needed to talk to you but I couldn't think of a reason on why she would need to. Anyways, why did you need to talk to me at lunch?" Oh dear god. I don't want to ask now! There's so much drama and I don't know what to do! Ahhh. "Ehhhh,well, you'll find out at lunch! Bye!" I rush off and turn the corner putting my hand to my heart and breathing out. "Phew." I relax. "Joel." I hear another voice say. Oh great. "Ahh I don't want to ask now!" I say thinking out loud. "Sorry?" Scott says raising an eyebrow. I give him the 'don't ask' look if you get me. We all start making our way to class and I walk with Lizzie. I'm doing it I'm asking her now. "So Lizzie, I would say we're close right?" I start. She nods her head in agreement. "Go on..." she says waiting for me to finish my sentence. "Well I was wondering if you would eh, you know, be my girlfriend maybe?" Lizzie grew the biggest smile. "Oh my god yes!" She says wrapping her arms around me. I hugged her back and we got to class. Science. I hate science.
Lizzie POV.
In the middle of science I hear a song in my phone. "I warned you!" It read from an unknown number. Possibly the number who told me to reject Joel but now I understood them. I didn't care tho, what's the worst that could happen? We all walk to the lunch hall to see it crowed with people. This isn't good. There's a video playing and it takes me a while to see what it is. But then I get a good luck at it. It's my dad, and Joel mum. When they were a thing. My heart dropped. "WHAT THE FUCK?" I yelled and dropped all my book on the ground. Everyone continued watching whilst laughing. "Lizzie?!" Maddie said sprinting up to me. "Maddie, get out is Chloe in here?" I ask. She nods and goes back over to Chloe. I was shortly follows by our group, everyone stood shocked. "Joel did you know about this?" Chloe asked. "shush, get out!" Joel told chloe and she followed his directions. I watched Joel get lost in the crowed as I tried to follow him. Within two minutes the projector screen was ripped off the wall. "You think this is funny? Cause it's not happening to you? How is this funny? How?" He says. The room goes dead quiet as we leave the lunch hall. "I hate this school!" Joel said and slammed he door as we both walked out not continuing the rest of the day. "I get how you feel, why would anyone do that?" I got a text from Callum as soon as I said my sentence.
C= Callum
C: how could you?!?!
L: huh?
C: I hope you know Jess is pissed at me! I didn't say that Lizzie!
L: Callum I'm lost what's up?!?
C: you told Jess I was cheating on her and that I said she wasn't even good lucking!
L: wth when did I say that I don't remember ever saying that!!!
C: this morning!
L: I was with Lauren all morning ever ask her.
