Lyles POV.

I lay in my bed until late afternoon, the parlour being shut due to us having booked a holiday from the parlour for this Saturday, working constantly was no good, even with us always having a Sunday and Monday off. I thought about my life as I stared at the white ceiling. I could hear Odette walking around the lounge and kitchen as I lay in my own little world. Thousands of thoughts and memories flowing through my brain as I couldn't seem to switch off. I was never going to be like Ivy or Odette, I had come to that conclusion around an hour earlier. Both of them fell in love with a normal person, a human. I didn't. I could never have an almost simple life like theirs.

After my hours of deep thought and denial over my love for Leon I went to the mall to buy an outfit, returning home swiftly to get changed into it. I pulled on tight black skinny jeans, heeled grey suede knee high boots, a tight grey cropped lace vest top, a matching grey bra and panties underneath the top and jeans. I straightened my hair before applying natural make up, just to make my skin clearer and eyelashes longer. I walked into the lounge to see Odette pulling on her hoodie as I picked up my grey oversized fake denim jacket which was incredibly thin.

"Where are you going?" she asked with a suspicious smile as I felt my cheeks burn. "I'm going to the theme park with Leon, you know, since it's doing that night opening thing that not many people go to" I explained, trying to act like I was casual with it even though butterflies were fluttering around my stomach. "We'll see you there" she smirked before walking towards the door as I looked at her with wide eyes. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "WE'LL"?" I yelled as she laughed in response before walking out of the door as I groaned. Fuck.

I grabbed my keys before running out of the door as quickly as I could in a hope to find Odette. She was easier to find than I thought she would be. They were all easier to find. I walked out the building door to see Odette, Isabelle, Ivy, and Denis standing as I stared at them. "Is this a joke?" I asked before a smile burst onto my face and I laughed. All of them looked me up and down as Odette said "See? I think she's going on a date. Just a coincidence she is going to the same place as us"

I gave them all a ride to the theme park, ignoring all of their questions as they quizzed me to see if I was going on a date. I denied it every single time but they just wouldn't give up. When one of them stopped another one would start. "It isn't a fucking date!" I yelled as we parked up, all of them looking at each other in silence as I knew they thought I was lying. We climbed out of the car as I put the key in my pocket before we walked over to the entrance of the theme park.

There stood Leon in front of the large silver gates which glistened in the moonlight. The bottom half of his body was covered completely in black. On his feet were black shoes, and his legs were covered in tight black skinny jeans. On top he wore a light grey V-neck t-shirt with a black jacket which had a gold tinted zip as it lay open. He was standing casually as he looked around before spotting me. He smiled shyly as I smiled boldly while I walked towards him swiftly, making sure I was as far away from the others as possible.

I stood in front of him as his green eyes met my blue ones. We just looked at each other, no spoken words, not that I had a problem with that. "Ready?" he asked with a deep tone as I felt the nerves flutter away. "More than ever. We need to avoid them at all costs though" I rolled my eyes as I spoke while Leon looked around before spotting the rest of the gang. "Well, we better run" he smirked before grabbing my hand as he led me into the park and we practically ran to the other side, avoiding people, swerving through small lanes, sneaking in-between stalls, weaving through trees, jogging around rides, both of us laughing as we did.

"I think we will be safe here" I said with a heavy breath as Leon nodded while taking a deep breath. We were at the opposite side of the theme park. The whole park was only lit with fairy lights on stalls, barriers, and hung from different olden lampposts, not that any of the lampposts worked. Flower baskets hung from posts, bushes and trees surrounded us. The rides were huge, the noise satisfying as you heard people laughing or screaming on them. A few kids ran past with their parents as the smell of cotton candy filled the air. We looked around to see no one was really here, a few couples and a family but that was it. Time to let the fun begin.
